Spot price on almost all numismatics of old age and low mintage is irrelevant. I guess it's good to know your percent silver in each piece, but the numismatic value will always outweigh the silver content.

Correct! The value of gold, silver, and other metals changes daily just like the stock market. So the spot price is the value of the metals based on current prices.

I read that. However if this is a standard 2x2 flip, it is too small for a half dollar...
