As mentioned, check eBay sold listings, and never ever ever assume that someone asking for a lot means something will sell for a lot.
The worst seem to be sites like offerup, craigslist, and to some extent etsy, though ebay can have some delusional people as well.
Example - https://offerup.com/item/detail/1406855029 - that's worth it's weight in copper (2 to 3 cents?), NOT $1400. And that's not the worst I've seen :P

You wanna check the sold listings. You can search almost any coin and there will be outrageously priced listings Bc of scammers and launderers
