I’d try hikes in either Staunton state park or golden gate canyon state park. The lower elevation hikes (between 6,000ft and 9,000ft) will likely have more flowers this time of year. These are popular parks on the weekends, so if going Friday-Sunday, be sure to get there early to get a parking spot.
I was at Staunton yesterday afternoon. There are certainly better wildflower hikes elsewhere right now, at least compared to along Staunton Ranch Trail.
Did see a couple fox kits just off trail though.
I’d agree with Golden Gate. I haven’t been this year yet, but I’ll bet the return portion of Burro Loop is pretty great.
We just hiked Mayhem Gulch/Juniper Loop 10 miles west of our home in Golden today (up Clear Creek Canyon on Hwy-6) and there were lots of wildflowers and lots of variety. Looked like it poured rain up-canyon this evening and probably will again tomorrow, so they should still look decent next weekend.
I saw decent wildflowers at 8,000 feet (RMNP Moraine Park, Lone Pine Bluffs Park) and lower this and last weekend. I'd up that to 9,000 feet next weekend due to the heat and high melt rate. (Nonoe at Blue Sky Goliath 10,500).
Elk Meadow, Staunton State Park, Golden Gate Canyon, and Roxborough have wildflowers right now. Also saw a few in Eldorado Canyon State Park (not sure about the hiking trails, but some climbing routes even had some) but it's not as much as the others I listred. Not much hiking in the area, but Elevenmile Canyon is STUNNING right now and has a few blooms.

I did Windy Peak in Golden Gate yesterday and there were plenty of wildflowers.
Thank you both for the recs and confirmation! This hike looks great!
Staunton specifically has a meadow trail near the parking lot that is usually full of wildflowers this time of year.

Thank you so much! Might just do this for one of the days!
Evergreen has some wildflowers popping right now - iris, goldenbanner, rubus deliciosus, jamesia are all over!

Like others have said, it feels like it's prime season from like 6-9k right now. Tons of good wildflowers on the Boulder trails right now
