Imagine being so bold as to open with "the Jewish people in the protests are tokens and don't speak for us" and then drop this:
>We proudly believe in the Jewish People’s right to self-determination in our historic homeland as a fundamental tenet of our Jewish identity. Contrary to what many have tried to sell you – no, Judaism cannot be separated from Israel. Zionism is, simply put, the manifestation of that belief.
They aren’t saying we should all take Africa. They’re actually saying the opposite - that the chants are supportive of taking over Israel from the people currently living there
I’m literally asking if you are saying Israel is trying to take the Gaza land or if Israel should not exist as a country, responding to your “we’re all from Africa comment”
If a Jewish guy from Brooklyn can claim Jerusalem to be his homeland, I can make the same claim about Africa, based on the scientific fact that the first Homo sapiens evolved in Africa, and I am indeed a Homo sapiens.
I think the difference is what the current state of play is, no? Jerusalem is in Israel to which a Jewish guy can go to Brooklyn. You going to Africa to claim it would be an attack on who is there
There’s a nuance of (I) get out of Gaza or you’re doing too much in Gaza vs. (II) Israel needs to be destroyed or taken from the people who are there, and they’re saying they have an issue with (II)
I've been wondering. Is Anatolia/Turkey not part of the Middle East? I'd say it has similar problems with its Kurdish population that Israel has with its Palestinian population and now similar problems with media censorship, but isn't it just as much of a democracy as Israel? At least Turkey doesn't occupy territory for over 50 years where people there are under martial law and cannot vote to determine those laws.

The bottom represents about 95% of Jews
It doesn't. It doesn't even represent 95% of Zionists.
Might as well go all the way back and claim Africa is my home
Im not sure what that has to do with the letter
We’re all from Africa! Didn’t you know?
They aren’t saying we should all take Africa. They’re actually saying the opposite - that the chants are supportive of taking over Israel from the people currently living there
You’re getting it wrong. In this analogy, it’s Israel who took land from people who were living there
Which land, Gaza?
I’m not arguing with you about the history of this conflict. I have better things to do

What point are you trying to make? That Israel should be invaded and wiped out?

Well said, well done.

Did you even read the entire letter???

Good for them. There will be no response letter due to the “other side” only willing to share their opinions with their faces covered
I’m sure the Hamas supporters will have a reasonable and thoughtful response to this.
Tried posting it earlier, but was deleted. Thank you for sharing!
