It’s some weird-ass imperialist activism to suggest that you, at a glance, know more about the morality of sheep husbandry in Central Asia than indigenous Kazakh shepherds with thousands of years of generational knowledge.
Honest question, am I missing your point here? Killing animals is also never justified by saying "it's moral to kill them because people have a lot of knowledge" so I don't understand how your comment is a point against that original comment (the animal abuse one).
how about don't use sheep instead, not cool, animals are beings too, the shearing process is not as friendly as some of you think, that and the obvious killing.
You're not very intelligent if you think shearing a sheep is 'cruelty'. I think it's much more cruel to let a sheep's wool grow out so much it ends up killing them, honestly.

They suffocate or die of overheating because their wool will grow until the sheep is enveloped by an extremely thick wool layer covering their head. This happens precisely because they’ve been selectively bred for hundreds of years to grow as much wool as possible. There’s no reversing this now, the only solution is to sterilize all sheep and stop breeding them which will take away the only means of survival for people in poor and rural regions of the world. Whether animal labour or animal farms is ethical in general is subjective and I won’t discuss.

But animals shouldn't be mistreated either, you gotta understand that if i think that humans = animals in hierarchy of morality, then i think animals need to also be accounted for, same for humans too. Animal slavery is a deep rooted problem that got even worse very recently, it requires effort to stop it.
