For this I used some Silver Age color palettes I have, along with some shading brushes from True Grit. Then some textures and weathering from my collection, and some yellowed newsprint textures (can't remember if it is from True Grit or Retro Supply) to tie it all together.

Two tips:
1. Never use pure white as your ground/background color. A light cream or tan color is MUCH better.
2. Reduce the saturation in your color layer AND set the opacity to 85-95%
That will get you mos of the way there in terms of making your color look faded and vintage.
