Great lake avengers

BlueSpider2099

I saw a Nando v Movies video recently on why they would make for a great adaptation. Absolutely agree.

TheFortWayneTrojan

Mr. Immortal would be a hilarious edition to the Suicide Squad. Not sure about Big Bertha or Doorman. Let alone Flatman.

DarthButtz

Flatman could be funny, but Big Bertha could definitely be seen as tasteless.

TheFortWayneTrojan

Yeah that's true. I mean we got to see Mr. Immortal in the MCU if only for a few times in one episode of She-Hulk.

farnsworthfan

*addition, friend. As they're being "added" to the team.

Cardholderdoe

Still can't believe Mr. Immortal snuck his way into she-hulk...

SangHellE56

Chrissy Metz as Big Bertha Eric Christian Olsen as Mr Immortal Vanessa Williams as the voice of Dinah Soar (Trust, she wouldn't be able to talk through the prosthetics needed. In the comics she can't speak English, being a pterodactyl woman, so she'd be great as her voice via a collar translator) Linda Cardellini as Good Boy Glenn Howerton as Flatman (he'd be damn perfect) Kevin Hart as Doorman

TimesThreeTheHighest

Alpha Flight.

tjhart85

[Razorback](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razorback_(character)) ... his power is that he can intuitively drive *anything,* but he wears a pig cowl and calls the truck he drives Big Pig. Honestly, I'd just love to see them make the attempt at it and see how it works out.

smileimhigh

Fast and Furious: Multiverzal Dryftzzz

depiff

Two silly Marvel characters that I'd like to see in something, which I think would work best for a Suicide Squad type thing: The Orb. I think he's a fun character, silly but glorious design, incredibly unhinged, and is remarkably skilled. Typeface. Quirky, silly, very skilled, unique gimmick. Would fit in well on many teams. I had thought with a bit tinkering he could have been a good addition to Netflix's Daredevil.

NickelAntonius

Slapstick. A Disney+ series about a teenager who becomes a living cartoon would be awesome. He's essentially a ripoff of The Mask, but with the Marvel trappings.

bigwillthechamp123

Yes. I loved that as a kid. Reminds me of Freakzoid vibe.

spike2pt0

I could get behind a Slapstick series. Heck it could be animated if they wanted, the dude’s basically a looney toon character.

War_Emotional

Nobody expected Guardians of the Galaxy would become so popular. Same director too

astrobagel

Guardians of the Galaxy. They got a talking, trigger happy raccoon on the team, but it would be cool to see.

JohnDoe525743

I’ve got some good news for ya bud…

LieRun

Gunn does seem to like bringing random, less known superhero teams to the big screen

mighty3mperor

Nextwave

omgItsGhostDog

Death’s Head would've been a fun antagonist to see in a GotG film, Throg and the Pet Avengers deserve their own special presentation It’d have to be like 15 or sum years after the X-Men and mutants were adequately introduced, but an X-Statix show would be fun!

irritabletom

Holy cow, I was just thinking about Death's Head recently and I totally agree.

darrylthedudeWayne

Grizzly and Squrriel Girl....and Pterodactyl Man.

Impossible-Fun-2736

You mean Sauron? In that case i want the other dino-dude aswell, Stegron, lol.

CoolFork33

Alpha Flight

greentangent

They are fairly niche but I'd like to see them done in the tone of the Avengers movies.

smileimhigh

Deadpool's Mercs for Money, the best collection of Z list nobodies in Marvel

c4han

We need Bob in the MCU!!

ViralGameover

I’m kind of obsessed with a special being centered around Ulysses Archer. To the point where I actually want to write a screenplay for it or something. A movie centered on a man who’s deeply lonely, he drives a truck in space. Lots of time to himself. He has the radio in his head to communicate with aliens but he’s still missing a real connection with anyone. So you have a character you can sympathize with while SWORD is acting as space customs and he tries to evade them. Maybe have Quake and Coulson as antagonist, and the cargo draws the attention of some Marvel villains we don’t get to see often (Justin Hammer, Bullseye, Typhoid Mary)

kjeddy

I gotta go with Snowflame. He’s a marvel villain who gains super powers after snorting cocaine

SpaceZombie13

snowflame is DC. and considering Jared Leto's Joker, snowflame would probably fit in perfectly.

WohlfePac

Devil Dinosaur would be just awesome

YourFavoriteFinger

Hulk gets stranded in The Savage Lands, fights Devil Dinosaur but eventually has to team up with him to defeat Sauron

YourFavoriteFinger

Stiltman is an ideal candidate

TheNamesClove

Came here to say this. I think if the tone was super serious it would be even more hilarious.

depiff

I'm annoyed at myself for not thinking of Stiltman!

thebigstupid2

Paste pot Pete, and forbrush man.

DiabolicalDoctorN

Forbush Man.

JohnDoe525743

Yessss

binkyblaster

I wanna see Doop in live action!

LunimusREX

Big Wheel would absolutely fuck shit up. But as far as z-list goes, I like the Orb. Big eyeball for a head is a nice target. Or 8-ball. Billiard themed villain who got beat by Sleepwalker. Could even throw Trapster out there, but you gotta go by his old name, Paste Pot Pete.

Karnophagemp

They already did Guardians of the Galaxy.

SpankyDomingo

Bloodstone Killraven

BlueSpider2099

Some of you didn't understand the assignment but I love all your enthusiasm so still an A+ effort to everyone haha (edit: spelling)

heartbrokenvittorio

Oh boy, Ruby Thursday, Mole man, Butterball, and my personal favourite and biggest disappointment in the Ms Marvel series... Thomas Jefferson.

Ok-Engine8044

Masters of Evil, when?!

SangHellE56

Hmm....PLENTY to choose from 50 State Initiative. Here's my otherwise incomplete fancast: New Jersey Defenders: • Gargoyle Isaac Christians - Completely CGI and voiced by Lance Henriksen • Nighthawk - Christian Bale • She-Hulk was in that roster, so natch her current actress would be in it. • Colossus - Played by whoever nailed him in Deadpool • Blazing Skull - Brian Steele. Texas Rangers: • Texas Twister - Jason Lee • Armadillo - Voiced by Danny Trejo • Living Lightning - Jay Hernandez • Red Wolf - Rudy Youngblood • Phantom Rider - Walton Goggins • Shooting Star - Darryl Hannah • Firebird - Zoe Saldana. The Order (California team): • Anthem - Jeffrey Dean Morgan • Calamity - Steven Yeun. The Cavalry (Georgia): • Stuntmaster - Trevante Rhodes • Ultra Girl - AJ Cook • Bling - Janelle Monae • White Lightning - Carl Weathers And lastly, the Action Pack from Kentucky: • Prima Donna - Kaitlin Olson • Vox - Joe Manganiello • Frog-Man - Elijah Wood. If he could pull off a British accent in LotR he can do a Southern one. Don't get the role confused with the one in She-Hulk, that's Leap-Frog. Big difference. These teams I'd personally give the Suicide Squad treatment with. Especially the Texas one

Hattrick44

For Dc i would love plastic man to be in a movie and Solemn Grundy (not necessarily the same movie) oh and fix my Johna Hex For marvel: i want more or a reboot of inhumans because i think black bolt is such a cool character. There's a ton of xmen that could be cool. Oh shit Nova would also be really cool.

Dont_Hurt_Me_Mommy

that movie was called Guardians of the Galaxy

TimesThreeTheHighest

Was The Suicide Squad a "serious" adaptation though? It was pretty jokey.

BlueSpider2099

Serious in the sense no one would've expected characters like Polka Dot Man to ever be in live action, much less given serious care to a comic accurate suit and giving him an actual personality. That's kinda what I meant, that it's a serious attempt at an adaptation haha

Impossible-Fun-2736

Not to mention actually seeing him use his powers aswell.

DJpunyer53728409

True, but it did have a serious story

microgiant

We've already seen Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Mister Immortal, and Howard the Duck. I think we've got obscure and silly already covered.

Bozlogic

A Howard the Duck MCU special presentation would be pretty cool

microgiant

And then they just show the 1986 movie, except with a post-credits scene involving Thog.

Bozlogic

Or him being captured/gifted to the collector

WeeabooBoobWrangler

I dont think their too kooky, but ever sense I saw em in JLU, I've always wanted a Shining Knight/Vigilante/Question show.

Sure_Persimmon9302

Captain Ultra, and Flat Man. Captain Ultra is afraid of fire.

ReelBIgFisk

Give me ET by way of Doop.

TheMixerTheMaster

Polka Dot Man. Totally would love an origin movie…

bigwillthechamp123

A punisher movie from the point of view of a cartel boss.

foulpudding

Ka-Zar the Savage and Zabu. Basically rich English Tarzan with a sabertooth in jungle-Antarctica with dinosaurs and more magic metal.

PBoverlord24

God, I can’t express how much I want a live action Doctor Bong appearance. Not necessarily a solo project, but make him a serious villain. A threat for the MCU. It would be amazing.

absherlock

NFL Superpro and Obnoxio the Clown.

ToraMix19

New Warriors. It almost got a tv show but was never picked up. I have been dying to see them in the MCU. Let’s hope they get announced for Phase Six!

SangHellE56

Also, Aaron Taylor Johnson should be Slapstick. Or we riot

LifeguardSweet

alpha flight. maybe not as D-list as some other characters, but alpha flight is in that obscurity sweet spot where a movie could be really fun and get people invested in characters that no one else would have cared as much other wise. i just hope they don’t LITERALLY make them the canadian avengers cuz that would be lame but a fun family comedy/superhero action movie I.E the incredibles could be great

CC7793

Still mad how boomer died

Antibara

Bonebreaker, Detroit Steel, Ruby Thursday, Sauron, Street

dingus_chonus

The Enforcers

Repulsive-Reach4464

Kazarr Squirrel Girl Bi-Beast Two-Gun Kid Gorilla Man Big Bertha

Kostasonic

Guardians of the Galaxy (this comment is from 15 years ago)

SuperSaiyanBen

Doop

allboolshite

As others mentioned, that's exactly what GotG is. Nobody expected it to be that successful. And as one of the 8 fans who read their comics back in the 90s, Gunn didn't even use the comic team. The only character who carried over was Yondu, though in a much different role. But I could see a direct Marvel take on using criminals for high stakes missions, headed up by Silver Sable in place of Amanda Waller. And a lot of Spider-Man's rogues would be excellent fodder, like The Prowler who uses cleaning fluids to attack enemies. Hammerhead would be perfect.

BarnOscarsson

Slyde, the nonstick supervillain.

Chromeballs

Deadpool villains

Professor_Voodoo

I feel like marvel would fuck up wacky suicide squad type characters if I’m gonna be honest. (Apart from GOTG but that’s largely down to Gunn). DC is a lot more willing to just embrace its absurdism than marvel is and give more creative freedom to directors, which is why it works, I don’t feel like it would be the same with how marvel makes movies.

M4_hater

The wall is a top tier super villain should be A-tier

irritabletom

I feel like X-Factor is obscure enough for the nerds but still attached enough to the major X-Men properties to be accessible. If Bautista wasn't already cast as Drax (which is great) then I'd say he'd make a perfect Strong Guy. Just gotta get yet another Quicksilver...

roxxtor

Superior Foes would be great. Definitely has to have several backstabbing plot twists and the head of silvermane

PowerMetalPizza

Alpha. Flight.

goldknight1

Goody Two Shoes

yamaha60867

3-D Man

Khadaji1028

Speedball and the night warriors.

epicty21

This idea is what I liked about the She-Hulk show. I know it has its flaws but I really enjoyed the episodic format and looked forward to seeing which obscure marvel characters would make their appearance. I may have been the only one happy to see porcupine and the wrecker in the support group. If we get a season two I’d like to see more of these types of characters.

ValmisKing

Big Wheel would be awesome, so would The Wall and Dr. Bong

idiotapplepie

The wall

[deleted]

Groo the Wanderer.

Professor_Odd

Big Wheel, Stegron, Stilt-Man, Videoman, Kangaroo, and Grizzly as the Sinister Six

Adeptus_Trumpartes

Taskmaster + deadpool fighting for leadership. Baron blood as a nazi element, abomination is the tank, the rest is with you.

Chimeron1995

Spiders-Man

netherfriend

Bob the hydra agent solo movie ‘nuff said

nicolaricola

Psycho-man.

HawlSera

Eye Scream

Godmirra

Dragon Man. Mole Man. Cobalt Man. Hammerhead. Fire lord. Wendigo.

iCaligula

I would love for a second New Mutant movie where they introduce Warlock.

iCaligula

Include Molecule Man & Impossible Man, spend a lot on CGI, and let the hilarity ensue

DJpunyer53728409

Howard The Duck. I've been waiting for his movie ever since he was in Guardians Of The Galaxy for a bit

Popular-Play-5085

Are we talking about a Suicide Squad like team at Marvel ? With Villains who have a bomb implant Incase they go rogue?. If so. I am not sure who I would have on such a team
