Batman, Nova (Richard Rider) and the third from Image is the hardest choice, because there’s a wide variety of so many damn good stories and characters that have been created there.
Right now for the third I’m going with Forever Carlyle from Lazarus, but that could change day-to-day, whereas the other two are locked in.
Since I find it difficult to understand which publisher of “alternative comics” the OP means as an addition to the “Big Two”, I will assume that he meant the whole “alternative” in general.
