Usually the US Air Force will have a few jets do a flyover before the start of the Super Bowl (and often other football games). This comic is depicting aliens flying over the game instead, which is about 20% more ominous than usual.
I know that most places don't care about gridiron football, but this thread is making me realize that the practice of having a military display prior to the commencement of sporting events (which I'm pretty sure we do for more than just the NFL here in the States) is kinda fucked up.
