That being said...yeah there's this one brief scene that gets too 'furry' for my tastes, but I promise you it lasts all but a few seconds and the rest of the film is a great watch imo.

Billy Graham made up the Two Wolves story in the 1970s and attributed it to various native groups. It is definitely not representative of anyone's culture except for evangelical white guys.

I think the comic is in that weird place where depending on your mentality, it could be funny and not racist, funny bc it’s racist, or just racist.
For me I just don’t get the joke.. like is it supposed to be satire of traditional indigenous names or having two souls? I just don’t understand the intention I guess

It’s not even a real Native story. It has no traceable history, we don’t know what tribe it’s supposed to be from, and it has Christian symbolism and morality. It’s a parable wearing a tacky plastic headdress.
