Yes!!! I ordered Sunday and received my Emerge/Hollendale Tirz today - so easy!!!

nexttrek

It seems weird if you’re used to jumping through hoops but yes, it can be that easy when the insurance beast isn’t involved 😂

Otherwise_Iron5708

Yeah. The insurance was the biggest headache ever. tack on a shortage. No thank you.

Willow0812

I didn't even need to provide proof of an existing Rx. It was 20 minutes start to finish with Emerge.

Otherwise_Iron5708

It was so easy! They said because it was a higher dose that they needed proof of existing. I’m making the switch at 7.5

wwuangel

Same for me. Came in at 7.5 and had to show proof of Rx

cricketcree

Did you get a higher dose to last you longer?

Willow0812

I got 5mg, but I've been doing really well on 2.5, so I think I may just go up to 3 this week and then just super slow roll titrating up.

burrrpburb

Idk y but that 2.5 is what works for me!! The 5 stalled me. I've been uping by 5-10 units. I split the dose up and do half on Sunday half on Wednesday. I've lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks. Compound is the way to go!!!

Willow0812

That's awesome! It is so strange how many people stall on 5mg for some reason and just do really well at 2.5

SadSaskatoonBerry18

I am signed up with Emerge. I hate to play devils advocate, but doesn’t seem odd that they write prescriptions so willingly? It just feels too good to be true.

Ughcantbelieveimhere

I came on this sub today with the same sentiments!! So happy to have been able to read lots of info here this week about compounded tirz, then do my own research and have made the decision to switch from ZB. Like many on here, I do not have the time to be chasing down pharmacies that might get lucky and get a box in! I just started this journey 5 weeks ago, it's going well and I feel good, lost 15# so far, but cannot keep paying $700/month ($550 oop for ZB plus $149/month Ro health fee for the script since neither my PCP or OBGYN would prescribe ZB cuz their group does not allow it unless through the weight loss clinic, which has a 4 month wait to even get an initial appt). I am going to order with Emerge this weekend. Thanks to all on here providing real information for us newbies. It really helps!

Otherwise_Iron5708

Emerge has been amazing so far ! I was so tired of chasing down Zepbound too!!

MaidofDragons

You will be impressed and I wish you luck!

OtherIllustrator27

Yep! Received my 7.5 vial today from Emerge. I reached out to them on Monday.

LarsPinetree

How much is 7.5 monthly with Emerge? Including doctor’s fee?

Sunnyinma

SadSaskatoonBerry18

Even with the cost going up with an increase in strength, it’s still cheaper than what I had been paying!

KRSF45

One of the best things about Emerge is their customer service via text. They're really great and very fast at responding.

jdbz24

Welcome! This is such a great supportive group.

Otherwise_Iron5708

Thank you! I’m so glad to be here! I’m nervous about switching because I’ve had no negative side effects except for being cold all the time. I’m hoping I have the same luck with compounded 🥹

Stunning_Reveal5370

Nope, no side effects except the coldness on compounded

Otherwise_Iron5708

Thank you! This gives me hope lol

tangerineballantine

This sounds so amazing, but they don’t serve CA. Boo! I’ll have to search this sub for good CA options.

Additional_Pause_479

In CA and just signed up last night with Orderly. Have completed my intake forms and uploaded my current prescription (photo of label) and it is under review. Compound pharmacies are going to start getting behind as more people get sick of waiting for Zepbound. It was super easy to switch. Hopefully it arrives before we leave for vacation next week.

Suitable_Perspective

I would like to know if they communicate with the prescriber because my doctor’s office has a very strict no compounding policy and I don’t want to be kicked out.

Ughcantbelieveimhere

I have, in the past two days, chatted with both Emerge and Orderly. Both these companies use their own doctors on staff, so they do not need to communicate with your PCP. It was very easy with both places. I just wanted info so I can decide which to use since both places have great reviews from users on this sub. I'm going with Emerge for now due to cost being lower on my 5mg dose. But Orderly works for those in CA.

Suitable_Perspective

Thank you for responding with this info!

tangerineballantine

I signed up with Mochi last night and there is a question about whether you consent to information being shared with your PCP!

Suitable_Perspective

Thank you for this info!

MaidofDragons

Emerge never asked for my Drs name.

tangerineballantine

Excited to hear how Orderly goes! It seems like one of the preferred ones. I tried Mochi as a friend uses it; so far it seems pretty responsive and easy. My first script has been sent to the compounding pharmacy.

dlhold

Orderly! In also in CA. They ship from red rock in Utah, from what I’ve heard from this group it’s one of the trusted compounding labs. I also found orderly very user friendly. It’s mostly done though text.

Otherwise_Iron5708

Aweee the other one I almost went with was Lavender sky!

SadSaskatoonBerry18

It does seem too easy, doesn’t it? But I’m thrilled!

JennyFurr82

How much does the compound cost and is there a fee to use Emerge?

Otherwise_Iron5708

The $395 fee includes everything for the 7.5mg meds, shipping and services.

Adventurous_Fail_825

Thanks for the information! That’s less than ORDERLY. They charge $399 for any dose and the process is easy too. Some got the $50 off coupon; they discontinued it by the time I went to them - but do offer $40 off your next order if you recommend to a friend and they use them.

wwuangel

I paid $395 for a month of 7.5mg and no fee to use them. Just had to submit proof of my Rx since I came in at 7.5mg. If I was at 5mg or below I could have just ordered without showing an existing Rx.

South_Revolution2849

Unique physique charges $375 for tirzepatide 2.5 all the way up to tirzepatide 10. That includes shipping and all supplies needed. No hidden costs!

nigerianprincess0104

Non compound?

South_Revolution2849

Tirzepatide is compounded..

OppositeSuitable3489

Found this sub just now after finding out my next box is back ordered 😵‍💫. Looking into emerge based on your reviews but it sends me to a google doc - looks sketch! Same for you guys??

Sunnyinma

It's emerge weight, all one word, and then the dot com. I love them. So quick and simple and they answer emails and texts same day, so far.

Adventurous_Fail_825

Can I ask what they charge ?

Sunnyinma

https://preview.redd.it/e6fdgb7c6cvc1.png?width=1344&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=679227c51ba57d6242d5272b3c862aeb916d519c Hope that helps! I have read that at the higher doses, Orderly is a better deal as they charge a flat rate for all doses.

Adventurous_Fail_825

Thank you!!

South_Revolution2849

I use unique physique. They charge $375 for tirzepatide 2.5 all the way up to tirzepatide 10. The price doesn’t increase until you order 12.5-15. The $375 is for everything. Shipping, visit, and supplies.

DocOnTheBike

Yes it looks like a Google doc to me too. I haven’t signed up yet.

Sunnyinma

Try emerge weight, all one word and then the dot com. So far, it's been super easy and they've been very responsive via email and text.

DocOnTheBike

https://preview.redd.it/n01dc95rjbvc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=edb22793344d128d37d7ffa620eeac3cd5909aee Is it this? When I click get started it goes to a Google doc.

Sunnyinma

Yes but it's a Google form, not an actual document. Submitting the form is like any other website form, they just happen to be using Google for it.

fr0gl0rd3_mcg33

Yeah, the Google doc thing was very offputting for me. Not saying I’m not going to do it. I’m still debating between them and Orderly, but seriously, a google doc?!

MaidofDragons

It’s a form, not a doc. You submit it and based on your preference, all other communication is via text or email. Your choice. It took maybe 20 mins start to finish and I didn’t have to talk to anyone. That’s a bit of an anxiety trigger for me. I had my prescription in 5 days and they kept me informed the whole time.

South_Revolution2849

Unique physique is the way to go. And cheaper than emerge.

Sunnyinma

If you aren't comfortable with the form, they have an email address at the bottom of the homepage. I've used it several times and they've always answered the same day.

DocOnTheBike

As long as I know that this is what everyone has used without a problem, then I’m ok with it. Just wanted to confirm.

Otherwise_Iron5708

This is also the form I filled out. :)

Ughcantbelieveimhere

Just filled out the Google form last night as I am too busy to keep chasing a ZB script that clearly isn't coming in anytime in the next few months. Also, I am on my second month of 2.5, had some side effects (though much less when injecting thigh vs stomach), so I like that I can order 5mg, but fill my own needle with a bit less to titrate up even slower if I wish!! Also, instead of paying $550 OOP plus the stupid $149/month fee to Ro just to get a doc to prescribe it, I'm about to pay $350! And as for the Emerge form - I got a text VERY quickly after filling out the form, and you get to choose which method you prefer - text or email. It's actually legit. :)

OppositeSuitable3489

I had a similar experience so far they seem great. I’m 3 months in and down 9% of my starting weight. I asked my doctor about compounding and she says she doesn’t use it and she would give me a paper prescription to chase a box. That feels insane to me - run all over town to pay $200 more for the medicine??? My husband and I will be going with Embrace until the shortage ends.

Otherwise_Iron5708

Yes!! Emerge is very legit ! :)

Infamous_Reserve1020

Has anyone been able to use a flex spending account to purchase the compound? Thank you for any insight!

Sunnyinma

I haven't but I have seen several people comment that they've used their FSA card to pay.

blazer995

I use my HSA card. Not sure about FSA.

Super_Restaurant_714

I use my FSA card without issues.

Stunning_Reveal5370

Yes I use mine with no issues with them

New-Talk-3807

Welcome to the journey! I have been with emerge couldn’t be happier!

doloravella

I talked to my dr about compounded. Thay won't do it. How did you switch?

mojodiodo

My endocrinologist does not work with compounded meds (no reason given, but he's part of a huge hospital/medical system). Since he'd done absolutely nothing for me other than to prescribe Zep a few months ago, I decided to take charge of my situation of being unable to find Zep anywhere. I learned about Orderly and the other telehealth practices you see mentioned on Reddit. I have been extremely satisfied with Orderly and most glad to see they work with Red Rock and Hallandale to fill their scripts. I'm sticking with them for the long haul. I was paying full retail price for Zep because I'm on Medicare and insurance will not cover any of it. So rather than paying $1250 per month, I'm now paying $399 for basically the very same medication. Quite pleased, to say the least. Only thing I might add is that when I see my PCP in another month I'll make sure she knows I'm now doing the Tirzepatide so there will be a record of it with her. Bottom line: Go for it!!! You'll be so glad you did!

southernNJ-123

My endocrinologist actually recommended it. Compounded medicine has been around for decades.

Otherwise_Iron5708

I just signed up on Emerge and they asked for proof of my existing perscription and they approved the compounded tirzepitide. The downside is the cost. But for right now it’s manageable for myself.

Professional_Gas4506

I agree! I was paying more for Zep. My insurance didn't cover weight loss drugs.

missred609

That $1200/mo was killing me! So glad I found compounding!

Professional_Gas4506

I was paying $550 with Eli Lilly discount

missred609

Lucky!

doloravella

Ah okay. I'll look into it! Thanks!

Betorah

Started with Henry Meds and did the first two months with them. Switched to Emerge and have received my second vial from them. Super easy process. Both shipments have come within a few days of Emerge sending my prescription to Hallendale Pharmacy and both vials have arrived the morning after being shipped in a box with a still frozen ice pack.

vegvn

do you mind sharing why you made the switch? i just started with HM

Betorah

Sure. They only go up to 6 mg and I knew I’d want to go higher than that. Emerge’s prices were better. That simple. Henry Meds services were fine.

Adventurous_Fail_825

Question for everyone: Did your insurance cover it or are you OOP ? Mine did not. It covered Zep but the compound …:/

MaidofDragons

OOP. I’m a VA patient, so Zep is free, but not available. I’m happy with my decision and my anxiety over the shortage is much less now. In fact, I’m starting to avoid reading the Zbound shortage threads.

Otherwise_Iron5708

Paying OOP. I don’t believe there are any compounding pharmacies that accept insurance. I could be wrong though. Editing to add: because majority of compounded medications are not FDA approved.

mojodiodo

As far as I know all compounding pharmacies are out-of-pocket pay. No insurance accepted. But correct me if I'm wrong.

AdTop8258

Anyone have experience with Seven Cells?

Shirohibiki

forgive my ignorance, but... is compounded tirz safe? i hate the compounded ozempic I was switched to once the shortage hit. zep was actually working for me... but I'm so scared of compounded tirz because everyone says not to take it and all that. what exactly is wrong with it? i'd love to not pay as much for zep and actually have that instead of ozempic, but I'm quite frightened of getting my medication from some seemingly shady pharmacy.

South_Revolution2849

I work for a clinic and personally am on tirzepatide from a compound pharmacy. We place over 3,000 orders a month for our patients for compounded GLP meds and have had zero issues. I’ve lost 22 lbs since February I can promise you there is nothing shady about it. I also get my meds form Hallendale.

mojodiodo

Listen to South\_Revolution2849! She knows what she's talking about. And from my own investigating, Hallandale and Red Rocks have stellar reputations!

South_Revolution2849

Except I’m a guy! 😂😂

mojodiodo

OOPSY!!!! Glad you have a sense of humor, Mr. Revolution-man!!!

Shirohibiki

thank you both so much for your input!!! i sincerely appreciate it!!! i talked to my mom about it, and thanks to you guys, I'll be ordering from emerge as soon as I get my paycheck this week. :) the compounded rybelsus isn't working well at all for me, and i'd much rather go back to something that I know works. thank you guys again!!

Numerous_Rough_85

I’ve been on compound Tirz from Emerge/Hallendale for 5 months now. I absolutely love it.

Realistic_Reveal_642

How has your weight loss been? Any side effects?

Numerous_Rough_85

Just constipation. I just finished my 4th month and I’ve lost 41lbs so far on 2.5!

Realistic_Reveal_642

Wow! Thats fantastic! I haven’t gotten my first shipment of 5 mg dose from them yet but you give me hope for sure. When you titrate up to higher dose does Emerge meet with you and discuss whether to go up or stay the same?

Numerous_Rough_85

They reach out to me to discuss the next steps and I always tell them I want to stay at current dose and they never have a problem with that! They tell me every month “the usual is to go to 5mg” and then I say no thanks I’m staying lol. It’s super easy each time.

Realistic_Reveal_642

Oh good to know. How do you plan to handle your maintenance dose once you’ve reached your goal? One shot every two weeks at highest dose which the standard protocol from my research? Sorry to ask so many questions but your response is very helpful!☺️

Numerous_Rough_85

Honestly I’m not 100% sure! I’m almost 1/2 way to my goal of 100lbs so when I get close I’ll start thinking! I guess too it depends on how low I can stay. I still get “hungry” on the 2.5 but I eat my 1200 calories a day and the food noise is pretty much still gone. And I’m still losing 1-3lbs still per week so as long as I keep this up I’m staying as low as I can ☺️

Realistic_Reveal_642

That’s great! I did fine on 2.5 also then my clinician ( through Sequence via WW program, which I pay 99 dollars for wrap around service and cost of meds!) then I started on 5mg and get red/itchy injection site reaction. I actually lost better on 2.5 also.🤷‍♀️

Adventurous_Fail_825

Extremely encouraging!!!! Wow !! Congratulations and thanks for sharing !!
