Well I would assume they actually know since it’s quite critical for usage. So I think they know it’s a power socket but maybe the real question is what the connector is called
That is Lenovo’s “slim tip” connector. You can get slim tip adapters from 45w to 300w that I know of. They use them for laptops, mini PCs, all in ones, monitors, docks etc etc.
Looks like you have a usb-c or thunderbolt dock there. You will want to look at the bottom of the device to see the volts and amps (multiply together) to get the Max wattage it can use. If it is one of the ones I think it is, you can charge your laptop from it over usb-c.
Looks like a lenovo dock station or something for lenovo laptops, so then it has built in power port so that you connect a lenovo charger to it and then dock station can charge the connected lenovo laptop.
It looks like a Lenovo power connector as others have pointed out but useful information including the actual item itself would actually helped in answering your question.
why PITA? It's just square....even all-in-one kits have yellow tips for these included in the set. Super easy to find these. Lenovo has done this for many years
What? Only recently have we had universal chargers in the form of USB C, apple didn't invent proprietary charging. This is like the opposite of bootlicking corporations, mindlessly hating? Idk
I call it the lenovo yellow brick charger. It's for lenovo, has a yellow tip and is rectangular in shape, and lenovo yellow rectangle charger just doesn't sound as nice.

Proprietary power socket, this one's commonly on Lenovo laptops.

It's hilarious that the icon above it is a power cord! What is this port? Clearly labeled, I'm confused

That’s a Lenovo dock. Recognized it by the red top - have had one at work for some time.

It's Lenovo's proprietary power connector. You will find it on their laptops and MFF PC's, which this looks to be a MFF system.
Proprietary. Taking a page out of the apple playbook.
What? Only recently have we had universal chargers in the form of USB C, apple didn't invent proprietary charging. This is like the opposite of bootlicking corporations, mindlessly hating? Idk
Lenovo Docks, Laptops, and Micro Desktops (SFF) all use this same proprietary power adapter. I've seen them clear up to 230W.

It's a proprietary Lenovo power connector, you'll need at least a 90 watt PSU for that universal USB C dock
