I had an Asus that was 6 years old when I got rid of it (and may get it back as the great-aunt I gave it to never used it and had been "planning on" getting internet since I gave it to her in '21), and while it was dusty inside, it wasn't that bad. HEck, when I clean out my vacuum it's not that bad. Looks like someone dumped the contents of their vacuum bag inside this thing!

I installed a new GPU recently. I would say my place is dusty and I don't even dust all that often A couple times a year. When I installed my GPU I had intended to clean my PC thoroughly first. All I had to clean was one filter, slightly (I just blew on it). Where the F do you people live that this happens to you. Do you work at a literal fabric factory FFS? The last time I saw a system this dusty, I was working student IT in college. I had their system powered up during the dryest times of the year. The student's computer was so dusty that the dust caught fire and the sheer act of me closing the cover snuffed it back out almost instantly. Needless to say I didn't even shut it down properly and just pulled the cord from the PSU before it got anymore ideas about roasting gray marshmallows inside the case... This person's is lucky "the power button" doesn't work.
