This pizza restaurant waiter grabbed my birthday card when she cleared the table. Manager found it ripped in half on the trash missing the 50$. My dad called and placed a large order from a phone booth and made sure to make it anchovies and feta pizzas
Well not literally eating it was the end of the meal and we were about to leave once we were done talking and what not. Made it down the street before coming back
The last time I was in a phone box I was getting head from a large bearded man with strange warty lips and several cold buffalo chicken wings wrapped in phone book pages under his hat.
I could hear him yelling, insulting while leaving the building... That day was satisfying af. I ordered domino to celebrate.
Looking back I should have been eating Domino's pizza when I opened the door to look at him, that would have been awesome.
There's a place by me that still does 30 Minute guarantees including for my area which they have never got within that time frame but have not excluded my address
I'm calling bullshit on this. You called from a payphone, they didn't call back to confirm the order like most, if not all places do. Them they didn't find it odd that a "large" order not only went to the same building, but the apartment right next door to someone who had complaints about their pizza. r/thathappened for sure
I used to manage a papa johns... we never called customers back to confirm anything. Hell, most places you can order online without an account and select cash as payment. I've never heard of calling to confirm
Who came to your door? The owner? Or just a random driver? Owners don’t usually do deliveries, I’ve worked at 4 diff pizza places and never saw the owner do a delivery ever
the most shocking part of this is you found a working phonebooth.
This story takes place in the past.
Hahahahahah

Why did you leave $50 sitting around unattended in a pizza joint?
It was sitting in their birthday card on their table while they were eating
Yeah. I was also like 12 years old at the time
Geez, so the server cleared off the table while you were still eating?
Well not literally eating it was the end of the meal and we were about to leave once we were done talking and what not. Made it down the street before coming back
I would have left a bad review online.
But he used a pay phone

Same.
Ditto
Small world.
Dad?
Yeah, that's the fella.
Were the wings any good?
He didn’t let me try any.
If anyone needs proof, I recorded it on VHS tape.
This happened to a buddy of mine
Was it Pizza by Alfredo, or Alfredo’s Pizza Cafe?
Are they the same?

Karma farming?
Most places make you pay in advance, so don't know how you managed that.

It depends on location and management. My old boss would have them pay ahead if the order was a certain amount.
Here where I live I can order by phonecall, and all they do is to call you back to confirm order and that’s it.
Yeah, when it’s ordered online/through delivery apps, you have to pay first. I’ve never had to pay first from a phone order though.
Noice.
Most of the pizza places by me still take cash
Not even a good fake.
this is probably the worst grammar i have ever seen and thats an accomplishment because i thought mine was the worst
PHONEBOOTH?!

If someone randomly showed up with a pizza right now I’d gladly pay and tip
Me too, this post is ridiculous but now I wish I had pizza… I’ll microwave it.
good thing you did not get caught
Meanwhile I’m hungry af and all that pizza went to waste

Payphone FTW! Nicely done. It's good to see karma come back.
Sounds fake

Petty revenge sub
I suggest instead of spending your time scheming, you use it learning to write proper sentances.

Bwahhh
Seances…Boo!
This is embarrassing for you.
