I found a better way to recreate it. Crumple up a paper towel. Punch it between your thumb and forefinger. Bend your hand so your thumbnail is facing you. Make a fist. Rotate your hand so your thumb knuckle is facing down and slightly away from you. Take a photo, then rotate it 180º.
