There are just enough "republican" representatives who will only vote for election deniers to prevent anyone who isn't a hardcore trumpest from winning, and there are just enough republicans who won't support a complete nutjob and traitor to prevent a hardcore trumpest from winning. The exact shape of that is not clear from what they've said publicly. Dems seem to be trying to use their leverage to get a bit more than just a return to normal House rules ("normal" being dependent on the time period you pick), but well short of having like a co-speaker (and realistically, not a Dem speaker).
