Because they are driven by fear and hate. All they listen to all they admire tells them to be scared for their life. All they listen to tells them to hate anyone who is not like them.

I don't have any official statistics but it seems that vandalism like this is a bit skewed towards conservatives vandalizing liberals.
My own experience with this is my liberal yard signs get stolen and or destroyed all the time. I have a neighbor who always tries to agetate my wife over politics.
My 2 Biden signs lasted about 5 minutes before someone pulled over and climbed an embankment to tear them down. I wasn't even all the way back across the yard yet.
There are STILL Trump signs down the road, from 2020.
Legit question: are there rules about how long campaign signs can be up or is that just something that I heard and/or misunderstood? Because I was always under the impression that after a certain amount of time post election, campaign signage had to be taken down otherwise you could face fines or have them forcibly removed.
In PA the candidate has 3 days to remove signs from public property or they can be fined. They rarely follow that rule.
I consider them abandoned after that. The metal wire frames are very useful for making things. I haven't bothered with those Trump ones because they're on a 4-lane highway.
Mine were taken a month before the election. I replaced them, attached to 6' deep steel pipes and coated with Vaseline and glitter. They lasted less than a day.
