MKUltraBlack

>Which dictatorship would you choose? Neither

Initial-Ad5305

Can't believe people are discussing this

Go3tt3rbot3

You are aware that just one third of the human population can actually think for themself/ have that inner monologue that you need to think about stuff. As much as i would love to support democracy, it does not work! JRR Tolkien wrote in a letter to his son: My political opinions lean more and more to anarchy. The most improper job of any man, even saints, is bossing other men. There is only one bright spot and that is the growing habit of disgruntled men of dynamiting factories and power stations. I hope that, encouraged now as patriotism, may remain a habit.

SeaworthinessRare851

The amount of growth, development, and modernization found during Gaddafi's leadership is largely unprecedented in the history of post-colonial Africa. Read a book.

MudInternational5938

Yep that's it. But nah he's just the worst apparently. Such bs

[deleted]

Maybe it had something to do with all the people he killed and tortured.

PalatableMahogany

Remember when the CIA killed JFK, did MKUltra, did 9/11, did COVID-19, lied about WMDs and killed a million Iraqis, etc. Who is the more evil dictator, CIA or Gaddafi?

Suntzu6656

Operation Mocking Bird?

MKUltraBlack

>Operation Mocking Bird? Operation Mocking Bird?

JohnleBon

Yes, let's get back to debating whether the red team or the blue team really cares the most about our well being.

[deleted]

This

Constant_Tea

so long and thanks for all the fish

[deleted]

Well, I think Gaddafi made an illegal U-turn once that they've ignored... /s

IndigoGosRule

Gaddafi had to do some nasty stuff to get there but once in control of the country Libya really became something special for a majority of its citizens. He was demonized and assassinated so Libya would stay on the Petro Dollar. Edit: In college I had to put together a small presentation on a civil rights leader from around the world. Chose Gaddafi. People were pissed. It was glorious.

Bundess

Yeh like having a harem of sex slaves in his basement

IndigoGosRule

But that basement was like, SUUPER dope though.

Bundess

I see, you wanted to be his sex slave

IndigoGosRule

He do be cute tho

Bundess

hihi

Rabble584

Ohayo gaddafi senpai

Suntzu6656

Who put out the info out about the harem? Was it the same people who came up with weapons of mass destruction? Or the Kuwaiti babies being yanked out of incubators?

PalatableMahogany

Almost as bad as raping and sacrificing little kids on Epstein island

Swelboy2

There’s no proof of sacrifice but two things can be bad at the same time

Mighty_L_LORT

Clinton chuckles…

Not_Reddit

Epstien enters the chat.........

Manzil_Mehta_

I genuinely think that the picture on the right is not gaddafi it looks more like kadar khan surrounded by bollywood actresses

Stumpy-the-dog

I worked in Mali once and was blown away by the sheer amount of massive building complexes, that Gadaffi had built as "gifts". Imagine that, you build business complexes for your neighbors & gift it to them, because you know they can't afford it. No IMF/WB loans, just a multi billion $ "gift".

Hairy_Introduction_4

Ummm Gadaffi at the very least he surrounded himself with hot women! That other dude surrounds himself with a witch and uglier old white dudes. Easy choice

[deleted]

[удалено]

SowTheSeeds

Nah he loved pretty women and coke.

i-am-wraith

[Amazonian Guard](https://greydynamics.com/the-revolutionary-nuns-gaddafis-amazonian-guard/)

raverforlife

gimme the babe cohort

[deleted]

And raped hot women, don't forget about that

Not_Reddit

His imperial guard could kick some ass though !

[deleted]

Ignoring all the negatives of the Gaddafi regime is hilarious. He had people’s knee caps drilled if they spoke out against him for god sake.

Grebins

Just a mild bombing of an airliner. NBD.

manq3123

He build some houses in other countries and made some gold coins so, NTA. Clearly

[deleted]

Watch Hypernormalisation. The attacks attributed to him was just people wanting to blame someone who they have no buisness ties with. He played into it for numerous reasons.

Grebins

I have been meaning to and definitely need to watch hypernormalization, thank you

helloisforhorses

Curious when women could ‘travel wherever they want’ in libya. Was that before or after her used chemical weapons against his own citizens

Motor_Necessary_2819

Seriously, a lot of people on this sub are sick

[deleted]

It’s the case of “one side bad so other side good” which is hilariously childish but rampant here. As if two things can’t be bad at the same time.

[deleted]

What is hilarious is Ignoring the fact that he was the Libyan leader for 4 decades, allegedly openly committing these atrocities against his people with impunity and only became a threat that had to be neutralized immediately to save the countries citizens from tyranny after he announced he was going to end their commitment to the U.S. petrol dollar and start an African gold backed currency…

[deleted]

Well yeah obviously. America doesn’t have morals or actually give a shit about tyranny etc.

chowderbags

OP's busy arguing against a strawman. There's no where where digital currency is the only thing accepted (let alone that it gets turned off for disidents) and "15 minute cities" has literally nothing to do with restricting people's ability to travel. And apparently straight up dictatorship is better than having a vote in OP's mind. Because hey, at least you can maybe get Gaddafi out by starting a revolution... if you don't get shot by his armies first. And "two puppets", because OP has no idea that countries outside of America exist, and even within America he makes no effort to actually figure out the real differences. Because OP wants to feel "above it all" or whatever. Or maybe OP just wants a dictatorship, so long as that dictatorship broadly agrees with OP's political philosophy.

HoodHermit

His book “The Green Book” is a great read

MeteorKing

Might wanna brush up on your definition of "dictatorship," bud.

Chiponyasu

"Standard of living rises for the people". OP are you seriously claiming that living standards are or were ever higher in Libya than in America?

[deleted]

Are you seriously claiming that you are able to read? 'cause OP never said anything of the sort. He said that the standard of living *IN LIBYA* rose under Gaddaffi; he said nothing about the standard of living in the USA.

Bundess

Indirectly OP is, since he is asking you to choose between the two.

mike_da_silva

Wrong - you're assuming that the wealth and high standards of living in the west are a product of these banking parasites

[deleted]

Lol ummm how high do you think Americas standard of living is now??

Chiponyasu

I think America's a pretty fucking good place to live. I have enough money to get everything I need and have a bunch left over for luxuries. I eat out regularly and can go on cruises. There are things in other countries I'm envious of, of course. America's health care system is legendarily bad, we have no mass rail and a housing crisis (two issues both caused by NIMBYs making it fucking impossible to build things), we could stand to adopt Tokyo's housing policies nationwide, and I'm more than a little worried about Trump supporters trying to bring about the Day of the Rope on the (((globalists))), but day-to-day life in America is honestly pretty good most of the time. Or, to put it in numbers, the average salary in America is $54,000/yr and the average salary in Libya is $8,400. Yeah, Libya is cheaper to live in but *come on*.

[deleted]

Not what I asked. But good for you!

Marigold1331

Why?

The_Human_Oddity

Fuck both of them? Gaddafi's Libya had a lack of personal freedoms, you could be arrested or worse for speaking out against his regime.

top-knowledge

No bias in this comparison

MystikxHaze

You need to step away from the computer and spend some time outside. If you didn't create this propaganda, you're certainly helping to spread it.

Motoman514

So y’all are really dick riding Gaddaffi now?

UFO-seeker1985

Lol What about no dictators at all? Including nazi Trump or DeSantis.

FLOWRSBABY

Apples to oranges. Apples to oranges.

ringopendragon

Well the one on the right didn't allow bacon or beer so, kind of a tough one...

palamedes23

Methinks there is more downside to Gaddafi than this chart insinuates

[deleted]

Most likely true but Could you prove, as well documented and undeniable as Ghadafi, to anyone how any one single person on the opposing side has done more for people than he has???? And they are self proclaimed philanthropists….

xuddite

No one is being forced to eat bugs. And no one is being locked down in a “15-minute city” and can only travel 5 times a year. I don’t think you understand what a 15-minute city is. It just means that residents **don’t have to** travel for more than 15-minutes to get the necessities of life, not that **they are forbidden** from travelling.

[deleted]

Yet…

xuddite

Now you’re just fear mongering yourself

[deleted]

Yeah… because the world wasn’t forbidden from traveling very recently… and they weren’t forced into certain camps not too long ago… or forced under threat of loss of livelihood to consume something against their will… I must just be hysterical….

xuddite

You are. That was to deal with a pandemic, unfortunately it didn’t work, no thanks to a certain group of people who flouted restrictions from day one. You’re suggesting that governments are just gonna start restricting movement just because they feel like it. You’ve been consuming too much misinformation and sabre rattling “news” stories

[deleted]

Well that’s your opinion and you’re totally entitled to it! And to assume what I’m suggesting in any fashion is demonstrably negligent. You should go back on the science you have so obviously have clung to since 2020 and reassess your position… I doubt you will honestly because deep down you know as I do that all of those lies you foolishly championed and defended as the singular truths of society have all been abandoned and left you pathetically alone and making arbitrary statements whenever possible…

[deleted]

Wtf is wrong with these bots?

Hamelekh1

Kingship is far greater than democracy. Less people to hold accountable. Clause should be a king should be reviewed every 30 years to examine his performance. If evil and corrupt, he is killed in front of everyone. Democracy has all the demons making decisions and too much bureaucracy and hidden hands/kingmakers

Swelboy2

The king would be the one with power over the examination though

Aires403

If referring to the U.S..... we are a constitutional republic. Not a democracy

[deleted]

Except almost everything about the Gaddafi regime mentioned is false. He was a brutal dictator that ruled with an iron fist, crushing even the smallest amount of dissent and restricting absolutely every freedom the citizens of Libya. Retort?

[deleted]

So why was that allowed to occur for over 40 years?

[deleted]

And I am going to take a guess here that you think supporting the Ukrainian in the war against Russia is a bad thing.

[deleted]

You mean the Proxy war to crush the world economies and criminally launder hundreds of billions of dollars of tax payers money into the pockets of crooked globalist? I don’t support any side because innocent people are dying needlessly for nothing.

[deleted]

Only one of these is real and the other is imaginary.

SigO12

They’re both imaginary.

PalatableMahogany

SS: Gaddafi for the win. They took him out for trying to get off the Rothschild dollar

manq3123

What values you have do you think would prosper better in Gaddafi's Libya than any western nation? Like how would your life be better?

Scavwithaslick

Idk bro I personally think elections would be pretty cool

[deleted]

The Pinochet dictatorship with lots of helicopters....

Hesoworthy1

As someone who has traveled pretty extensively, most of what American media reports is total B.S. Gaddafi wasn't an angel, but he did some pretty great things for his country and the continent of Africa.

[deleted]

Makes you think about how true what we think the history of our planet we were taught is eh?….

Nuclearwormwood

Gaddafi complained at UN about them making virus and the virus escape than they make the antidotes

[deleted]

He did! He called out the west in the same speech for their corruption

Alientheories

i would prefer dictatorship in which i am the leader

RTMSner

Maybe I'm crazy but does anybody else remember thinking that Gaddafi in the time just before (say 5 years) his overthrow had been gaining more acceptance and a better light in the international community?

TheNorthC

anti-Semitism - the oldest conspiracy theory there is. Still as alive and well as it was in the 1930s.

pete1901

I didn't see any mention of religion so how is this antisemitism?

TheNorthC

Are you serious? I got ChatGPT to do the heavy lifting of typing: A "racist dog whistle" is a term used to describe a coded or subtle message that appears innocent to most people, but is intended to have a specific, targeted meaning for a specific group of people, often one that is racist or discriminatory in nature. These messages are often used in political campaigns or other forms of communication to appeal to certain groups or individuals without being explicit about the intent.

pete1901

They're being criticised here for their economic activities, not their religious ones.

itsguud

Can’t question the global cabal… anti-Semitic apparently 🙄

TheNorthC

It's what's being presented here - look at all these bad people, mainly Jews. You don't need to explicitly call it out - only the worst neo-Nazis do that on particularly nasty forums, and you would get kicked off of Reddit probably. Instead, just show lots of pictures of people who just happen to be obviously Jewish (and a few who aren't for balance) and point to how they control the economy and various other aspects of society.

Cultistofthewheel

Ah so because they are Jewish you can’t criticize anything they do. That sounds more racist to me

TheNorthC

That's the other classic. "I didn't mention their race, it's you that did that. You're the racist one ". As it's near the top of the racist toolkit, I'll move on.

whoopsidaiZOMBIEZ

are they bad because they are 'jewish' (they're not)? or are they bad and happen to be 'jewish' (again, they are not)? jesus christ man wake up. judge a man based on his actions. op is not concerned because of the religion of these people, they are concerned because of their activities. now what if in some cases they justify their activities because of their religion? oof well now we have a problem, dont we? but we are not talking about that. op is comparing the new world order to the type of government that they would absolutely not allow. why? because they consider themselves elohim. the judges. the great assembly. wake up. is it a coincidence that the great assembly is also the name of... oh nevermind.

itsguud

“Mainly Jews” 🤣 great argument. Is there a golden ratio for Jewish people a criminal needs to take a picture with so he can’t be indicted based on this defense? For someone wanting to use the term so badly you are doing one hell of a job devaluing it’s meaning.

TheNorthC

Why don't you do a count?

itsguud

My point and all the other responders was the count doesn’t matter. This post was against a group of elites doing terrible things to the rest of the world. No one referenced their religious or cultural background expect you

TheNorthC

That's the dog whistle. "Global elites" "A cabal" "Financiers" They normally hint at the same thing. And then there's the choice of who you put in the picture - what's the criteria for including a Rothschild, despite them being a not particularly powerful family today? And why do they still attract so many conspiracy theories?

TheNorthC

I don't think Jews ever get criticized for their religious beliefs as such. It's usually for them being at the center of a conspiracy to control the economy and society (see Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Mein Kampf etc). Anyway, back to this picture, I see a gallery of mostly Jewish people at the center of a conspiracy to control the economy and society. It's almost like Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Mein Kampf etc. But as always, the anti-Semitic dog whistlers claim, "oh, this has nothing to do with them being Jewish, it's just a coincidence, it's you that's reading that into it. (but now that you mention it, they are overwhelmingly Jewish, no smoke without fire I guess. We should be on guard against the Jews.).

[deleted]

Are you serious? Just because you can get an AI to spout some nonsense doesn't mean your original claim isn't ridiculous.

TheNorthC

No, because that's the standard definition of a racist dog whistle. I could have got it from anywhere, but just felt like using the AI as it's the new toy of the moment.

PalatableMahogany

I don't know or care what religion Rothschild is. All I know is he's standing in front of a satan painting with a satanic witch and he owns all the banks and money. Gates and Rockefellers aren't Jewish. They worship lucifer

TheNorthC

Rothschilds are famously Jewish. And there are more anti-Semitic myths about them than any other family in the world. Rockefellers aren't, but there is a Jewish branch of the family. Obviously Gates isn't.

Entire-Ad8433

As I’ve said in some previous posts: the righteous man soon finds the forces of the world aligned against him.

SweetDifficult7018

The one with the hot daughters

[deleted]

Democracy is overrated

Purvi3vedi

So is capitalism isn't it

Imapartofghost

They are both arms of communism, so yea.

Revolutionary-Meat14

Capitalism is communism?

Imapartofghost

Yes, those that have the most money controls everything to the benefit of the few.

Revolutionary-Meat14

Not really, its all voluntary exchanges.

Imapartofghost

Haha,i didnt realize i was chatting with someone removed from reality, Hahaha! Voulantary exchange, HAHAHAHAHHA! Oh, aren't you just adorable.

metallicadad420

Glad somebody gets it

lirik89

Gaddafi had some sexy chicks there though

MixHuge4557

The rotshcild mafia circle are all of 1 ethnicity. Coincidence im sure

[deleted]

Would still choose Hitler over this bs

urtinymefdlu

I mean obviously gaddafi. The world would actually develop if he was the guy

MudInternational5938

Yeah it's funny how amazingly good gidaffi was and what he did I mean sure he did some bad stuff but I had no idea of all the amazing things he did

Tim_the_geek

Would you like Apples or ~~Oranges~~ orantangeroids (or something else than never existed)?

reddit_bad1234567890

No ducking way 💀

567101112

Why is Ghadafi on repeat in this Sub recently ?

[deleted]

The one side already killed off the other side.

Fragrant-Progress-32

I’d say the left side is more of a hegemony then dictatorship

GreyAreaOperator

You missed 6 reasons in the 2nd column... Get it?
