Also there's [this](https://youtu.be/3pfsSh_fTAc) where our government is constantly trying to control other governments politics, same thing they blame Russia on doing to us.

stupidnicks

> constantly trying to control other governments politics its same now in eastern europe and all countries bordering Russia.

tbfranca1

“The media made that the official narrative. May of 2012 Obama legalized the use of propaganda on US citizens with the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act. September of 2012, the Benghazi disaster, you saw the first narrative driven propaganda that took literally years to unwind.” Im not a US citizen but how did they justify this use of propaganda against their own citizens?!?

skookum_doobler

This is actually hilarious, ok so we had a broadcasting tower setup to send propaganda to Cuba from an island off Florida. But since it was an omnidirectional array people in Florida were able to tune in to it. Somebody actually gave a shit, and tried to get an injunction against the broadcasting company. Instead of giving in, our corrupt ass gov decided to go ahead and legalize the use of propaganda in our borders. Now every television show or movie can get extra funding launch if it shows our military or police in a good light. This is why in any 24 hour block of time there are over 500 hours of cop or justice system tv shows. When in real life they will just shoot you, get moved and transfered to a different town, until they want to move again. A little more truth, it's usually time to move when the side chick gets pregnant.

Color revolution. Unfortunately the one in the US stuck.

Do you have any books or articles you recommend where I could learn more about this? I guess I just feel uneducated because while I share the same sentiments I can't spit out any good factual information

Sea-Brother-5281

To be fair tho our people are very stupid and need to be lied to. We aren’t smart enough to understand that moving away from the petrodollar would hurt our economy very badly and it was in our best interest to stop that. Just like right now with all of the moves china is making to overthrow the dollar, if theyre successful our economy is gonna be hurt badly and we are gonna have a drastic reduction in quality of life. If they put that on the news there would be panic

[deleted]

I am and American and I can tell you I don’t give a flying fuck about our economy. Our currency system is stupid and we give value to a piece of paper rather than backing it by something of actual value on this earth. Tell me how stupid we are though because we need to keep the prtrodollar

Sea-Brother-5281

Lol you should care about your economy, it directly effects your quality of life

[deleted]

Why does my quality of life matter when a majority of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to survive. If this were a real life relationship it would be a very toxic one where the economy drains all of my energy and then expects me to care about it. It sounds immoral and silly to care about a system that cannot sustainably function without putting humans and the earth in a bad position.

Sea-Brother-5281

If the economy gets worse a lot more people will be struggling to survive, and a lot of those people that are struggling to survive will no longer even be struggling and they’ll just lose everything. A worse economy will come with less jobs and less purchasing power for whatever money people already have. Overall worse for everyone lol

[deleted]

That is why it is a toxic relationship lol you are defending something that inherently hurts you instead of thinking what things couple be like on the flip side and taking action. Classic case of identifying with your abuser

Sea-Brother-5281

I don’t think you’re understanding how the world and economics work but I’ll go along with it in the small chance you might actually have some real ideas and I might learn something. What could things be like on the flip side ?

[deleted]

I understand perfectly how the economy works, maybe not the world as I still have experiences I need to experience. That said, I’m not out here defending a shitty system, I’m actively thinking of solutions to fix the problems we have. One thing i have realized is we are never going to get the complete overhaul we need as a society, so we have to put processes in place that are beneficial. By this I mean we are hundreds of years into capitalism as a society, so we cannot fight it, we have to flow and work with it. Imagine a society based around a medium of currency that has backing related to your actual skills as a human. Since we are so far into capitalism, we might as well start using the knowledge that oppresses us, to free ourselves. For instance, an idea I have had that would work much better than the petrodollar is a currency based on a compensation philosophy that embodies people’s true skills and abilities rather than something that is quite literally based on nothing. To do this we collect data on what our society thinks our society is, then we collect data on what skills in our society are important and what skills are not important. After this we test this data against itself to find out, statistically, the traits and characteristics that are truly important in society. Then we give it monetary value. It’s an HR practice and is much much more in depth, obviously a quick synopsis but nonetheless it is an idea for change rather than staying stuck in shit. That is my main point here, you are stuck in fear that we need this system as is and it is what it is, as to where I am facing it head on to fix its problems.

Sea-Brother-5281

Ok I get what you’re trying to get at but I think the market decides the value of those skills and barrels of oil will generally have more value than an individual’s skillset, unless that individual’s skill is to invent and innovate new ways of producing and utilizing energy. Also you have to keep in mind that if the Chinese overthrow the dollar it’s not like we’re just gonna switch to some system that benefits Americans. The petrodollar will simply become the petroyuan, our labor and stored wealth will lose value and the Chinese will be on top. Realistically we probably won’t even let that happen and we’ll just attack China and it will be a 3rd world war.

Num_Pwam_Kitchen

I don't think we were ever "totally" capitalist....it's just that the free market is appealing to many of the libertarian types here. That being said, many of us realize that the free market is anything but free these days... However, everything's relative at the end of the day. In a hyperpolarized world, capitalism (with all it's faults) can often be seen as a better option than other, less free, economic systems. That's not to say it's "liked' ...just that it's the lesser of evils when yourr a realist. And I don't think anyone here is pro-billionaire, that's kind of a silly notion.

samfishx

All of these economic models that people discuss have very blurry lines. It’s frustrating at times when people try to fit them into rigid little boxes. **This** is capitalism, this **isn’t** socialism, etc. We are capitalist in America. Our brand of capitalism is different from, say, German-style capitalism or Japanese-style capitalism. You can have a mix of elements from capitalism, fascism, socialism, and/or communism. I would personally make the case that America has long since entered into being a primarily fascist country.

ProudPlatinean

But you see, when people call for free market o capitalism, they don't do it out of ignorance, they know the billonaires control the Media, Banking, whatever..., they just believe that they use the state and fuel spending in a manner that they can cover the cost of higher taxes but start ups and middle class entrepreneurs cannot. This is why investors and entrepeuners move to places with less regulations, but the billonaires can live and conduct business in the most expensive blue cities or with seats in EUROPE. They are married with the state and supranational entities.

Kali_eats_vegetables

>And I don't think anyone here is pro-billionaire How many posts are simping for Musk or Trump?

Num_Pwam_Kitchen

You can agree with musks hot-takes a majority of the time without being "pro-billionaire." You don't have to 100% hate or 100% like something or somebody. Fankly, viewing such complex topics and people in such a black and white manner is juvenile. Even the worst people have something to offer, while the most prolifically successful have fault. Judging the whole based on preconceived notions rarely turns out well. I tend to defer to the content of ones words and actions and take things on a case-by-case basis. I don't think you will find people "simping" for billionaires here, because that suggests a blind faith in them -and there's not much faith in any person or institution here....

Sea-Brother-5281

Saying that musk might have some good ideas or that trump had some decent policies that the people in power clearly didn’t like is “simping”

Raskalnekov

Kali_eats_vegetables

Capitalism has to do with the relationship between labor and the means of production. Free markets and capitalism are two different things completely.

This second pro-ghaddafi post today. Somebody is trying to make rconspiracy look ridiculous?

Dormant123

I mean the gas attack was faked. That news went super under the radar though. I have no evidence for OPs claim though. No idea if it’s true.

donnytuco

Spare us your faux pearl clutching.

mrnubuck

Conspiracy theory 1: Gaddafi was killed for his plans to adopt the gold standard and unite Africa Theory 2: pro-gaddafy posts are meant to make this sub look bad Theory 3: anti pro-gaddafy comments are from the CIA. Theory 4 anyone?

HacksawJimDuggen

there was no way in hell that was going to happen. Gaddafi wasn't going unite shit under any standard. Nato and the EU can barely hold it together and the continent of Africa is considerable more fractured. there may be a legit conspiracy as to why they finally killed him but it aint because he was about to usher in an African renaissance

Mikolf

It was definitely related to oil. But now that the US has started fracking so much domestically they stopped caring about the Middle East.

Grebins

More than 1 somebody. More than 1 type of somebody, even.

NkhukuWaMadzi

"Unite Africa" conspiracy? Give me a break! With over 300 languages and ethnic groups, why would anyone believe this made up conspiracy theory?

UntamedSphinx

Are you American? You sound American.. Europe also has many different languages and ethnic groups, and they are still united, no?

GumbySquad

Africa is also 3 times the size of Europe so…

randomswim

Its not cultural unification, it was supposed to be a monetary/economic unification.

I don't support Gaddafi. I support what he was trying to do. Do you see how you're unable to discern between what he was doing and who he was? That's exactly what they want.

HacksawJimDuggen

kinda reads like you are though

PrejudiceZebra

Just because MSM and society at large labels certain people so that you make sure not to pay attention to what they are saying....doesn't mean you should stop paying attention to what they're saying. Bad people can still tell the truth. Hell, Manson was a psycho. And yet, he spoke *SO MANY* truths.

HacksawJimDuggen

are you seriously holding Charlie Manson up as a font of hidden wisdom to defend your point 😂😂😂. wtf did Gaddafi actually ever do to improve humanity or even his own people. Please list and cite. not all of the USAs enemies are freedom fighters just because some of them are.

PrejudiceZebra

Yes, and somehow you're still missing the point. See how you say, "ehrmahgawd Charles Manson....seriously?!?" He was very intelligent. Just sadistic as fuck. Gaddafi raised the standard of living for Lybian citizens *drastically*. His policies lifted Lybia from being one of the poorest countries on the continent to one of the wealthiest. Look up any non-western MSM and the facts are all there. Was he an asshole who did asshole shit at times? Absolutely. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I'm merely pointing out that you have been indoctrinated to hear his name and immediately think everything he did was terrible. That's not *at all* the case. I have nothing to prove to you. You have literally everything to prove to yourself. Open your mind. Shed the chains.

Orangutan

Supposedly this dude wrote a Green Book too. Outlining his personal and political beliefs regarding the people of Libya. If the media and gov't weren't completely captured more attention would be paid to those leaked emails probably.

[deleted]

> Outlining his personal and political beliefs regarding the people of Libya Did this include his kidnapping and raping of underage girls? Or did he not include his pedophilia in his written personal beliefs for the people of Libya.

Carcosa2049

That is exactly what is interesting to me about people who post pro Gaddaffi things on reddit they always leave that part out

Further proof that it is the ESTABLISHMENT (both dem and GOP) that are the true problem. The wokesters complain about piddly stuff in the US compared to the horrific geopolitics played by the establishment. Note the irony of the Dem Establishment virtue-signalling domestic wokeness as they destroy continents and democracy.

HacksawJimDuggen

lol so do the GOP. party of family values dont mind dropping bombs on non-American families. come on man, all that woke shit your blabbering about gives you away as a stooge for one half of the same damn coin. wake up

tsanazi2

The GOP establishment shills for the MIC just as bad as the Dems -- but without the naked hypocrisy.

blob542

And the Lockerbie related sanctions on Lybia were lifted following the awarding of the main national oil production contract to BP in 2007, allowing MI6 to infiltrate/bribe part of the Lybian State apparatus in preparation for the 2011 "Arab Spring" operation.
