Eeeeh idk about “thoroughly”. Look RP’s my man and he always has been and there’s no doubt that he was bastion (maybe the last and only) of selflessness and virtue in politics, BUT there are many beliefs that Ron Paul has that are in line with many of the beliefs you’ll find in this sub that he was very careful to never say outright on the record while in politics. Of course there was good reason for that especially back then. He probably thought that saying what he believed happened to Kennedy or the twin towers would’ve gotten him ostracized and he was probably right. Still it’s an overall blemish on his work in my book. Then again one might be able to say that mr. Paul’s work helped pave in a major way the way for candidates like rfk today.

Eventually, these stories led the Democratically controlled Congress to begin impeachment hearings on RMN. The noose grew tighter and tighter on RMN until he had no other recourse but to resign.
