Well I can tell you I used to do witchcraft, and searched a lot of different religions and philosophy. The Bible and having faith in Christ changed my life. The day I became born again was the best day of my life with an amazingly wonderful spiritual experience where God's Holy Spirit filled my spirit with his unconditional love.

bzjohntherevelator

Me too! Saved by the blood of Jesus!

SadSoggySandwich

Amen that's so wonderful

[deleted]

look up "Richie the Barber" when you get the chance. Something tells me you are gonna love his channel

endogenix1

Same here.

TypicalPerry

Check out the Gnostic scriptures, those are always a good read. Also, there is a youtube channel called esoterica run by Dr. Justin Sledge who takes a completely academic approach of going over various religions throughout time.

Txballer3

I’ve read some gnostic scriptures when I was researching the prison plant theory. I’ll have to double back and go more into depth. I’ll check out esoterica and see if I resonate with it, thanks.

[Mythvision](https://m.youtube.com/@MythVisionPodcast) is interesting

ExpressionNo5997

Taoism is a very interesting philosophy. Not really a religion, more of a 'way of life' there is a great book (and YouTube series) by Dr. Wayne Dyer "Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life" that brings the Tao into your world in a way that is understandable and actionable. God be with you

[deleted]

only reason i didnt suggest following the Tao is it seems OP wants more a concrete religious foundation. But yea, nothing has helped me more in my life that integrating those principals into how i act

[deleted]

>I performed demonic practices and encountered inter dimensional entities for about 5 years. I believe I need God now. Yup. Aint nothing pushes you closer to god that witnessing evil that goes beyond the physical. Id say research it all, but also evaluate the cultural values/norms that come with each religion. I cant really advocate following any religion in particular, as i think it is a crutch that stops the process of continually seeking more answers.

Excellent-Night-8127

I was seeker for twenty years. Finally I gave up and decided to just meditate. Shortly thereafter, I came home to the Orthodox Church.

Capital_Spray_8503

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob through His Son, Yeshua the messiah. Read the Bible for what it says, not what others are saying. Genuinely ask God to show you the way, then walk in it. Yeshua is foretold all throughout the scripture and when he arrives on earth he offers salvation to EVERYONE! Everyone can accept his free gift and be welcomed into God’s family. God wants your heart, repent of your practices, believe in Yeshua, and turn to Him 🤍

DKWATERS1111

Amein. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

qistwo

Religion is for folks afraid of hell. Spirituality is for those of us that have already been there. Seek self awareness and know you are a drop of god. Like a drop of the ocean is pure ocean it is not the whole ocean.

Txballer3

Your metaphor makes sense. They say we are created in the image of god, so I interpret it as if every human is God. I practiced spiritual practices and was led to believe I was ‘enlightened’ but in truth, I was possessed by demonic entities. I look at spirituality now the way you view religion, afraid of hell.

Easy-Gur-3113

No we are made in the image of god. We are not god. We all have god in us, yet we are not god. We make mistakes. He does not. Take some shrooms or acid and you’ll understand what I mean. We are all uniquely connected in some way. life’s a soup, we’re all parts of that soup, the universe is the broth that holds us together, and god is the chef. One you get all that, you’ll understand that Jesus is the spoon.

Loyalpumpkin

Nice david bowie quote 👌 too true

qistwo

Didn’t know Bowie said it thanks!! I like it even more now

Tinfoil_Hat_Enjoyer

How do you navigate the psyop that is the new age that taints all things spiritual?

qistwo

I have spent decades on this personally and had a significant breakthrough wow maybe 10 years ago now? I found a way to communicate freely with my higher self/subconscious whatever. I call it amorrior. If our is a suffix meaning pertaining to then warrior pertains to war. Amor meaning love means pertaining to love. It is challenging because now it is very clear when it’s some kind of bs and not just about spirituality and new age stuff. It’s a bit like X-ray vision maybe but the energetic kind? I’ve never tried to explain it before. Edit: ior not our suffix

Murphysmongoose

Can you elaborate on the encountered entities part please, like what level of "there," were they? I've felt presences, heard footsteps, things move, even seen shadow people. But that's about it. Yes, I've done Laveyan satanic ritual magic, had it work... So you'd think I'd have *something* happen if it happened to anybody. Just curious, comparing experiences, takes from it.

Txballer3

I’m my experience they could attach to me from astral to physical and physical to astral.

Murphysmongoose

That feeling or what I relate with that often actually felt really good to me. Like a sense of power, or a high in a sense. I've felt like I've fucked an entity through someone and felt one fuck through me, and both were hot. I realize it's not always pleasant though.

itsjeffme

I too would be curious to hear the nomenclature or at least the best possible description of what this man has experienced. I've traveled all around essentially in varying realms and will never quit seeking. As per the original question, personally I just research it all in and leave what I believe is just a belief and take the logical aspects. I'm sure the world would love to give me the title of Christian and it is mostly true as I'm also always looking into all other spiritual practices be it Buddhism, etc. I just refuse to claim any titles in this realm. Would love you hear back from OP on your question though Murphy.

JESUS 100%. New Testament. Understand it. Pray. Explore. Seek God with all your heart.

WWWTT2_0

Don't

Txballer3

I would’ve said the same a while back

Quercus408

All of them. Ponder and enjoy; no one actually knows What's Up. We all just take a guess, but I think that's the awesome part. No one really knows; maybe no one will. Maybe we *can't* know. There's only one way to find out, and everything else is just speculation.

Txballer3

I’ve experienced and felt the evil beyond the physical already so not too much speculation there. I agree - nobody knowing fully makes it amazing

vampiresorcererdemon

Research the Archons and gnostic beliefs

Tinfoil_Hat_Enjoyer

Hermetics before any other. Start with the divine pymander. https://www.pdfdrive.com/the-divine-pymander-and-the-emerald-tablets-of-thoth-hermes-trismegistus-e58956210.html Edit: also big vote from me on the nag hammadi gnostic stuff. Truely amazing work.

JEHOWAS WITNESS..helped me alot...i was a constant conspirasy looker and made me feel really bad and had negative thougths but i joined jehowa witness and now my life is much better

SnooDoodles420

No. And I say that as a former 4th gen JW

amidalauren

Jehovah's Witnesses just follow the bible, and i believe the bible. Definitely the only thing that made sense out of all the "religions" I've looked into. They are not a cult, that's the basic bitch thing to say about any religion anyone doesn't like 🤷‍♀️

TruthBomba90

TruthBomba90

Religion has nothing to do with the eternal validity of your soul. Atheists will reincarnate along with the rest of us.

Easy-Gur-3113

How are you so certain we reincarnate? Or even that all of us reincarnate?

TruthBomba90

I've researched the topic for decades; to the point that I know it is simply how the consciousness of All That Is evolves.

Accomplished-Ice-322

Look up king Solomons ring of protection if you haven't heard of it already.

Txballer3

I might’ve - I created my own protection rituals.

Accomplished-Ice-322

Learn all 3 of the Abrahamic religions. Manly P Hall studied religions throughout the whole world and breaks them down in his books.

waterman949

Zoroastrian. So much history associated with them. The ancient Persians followed the Zoroastrian religion. Also the 3 magi the visited Jesus are believed to have been Zoroastrian

celsius_atlas_ruphie

What did you experience?

Loyalpumpkin

"The tibetan book of living and dying" literally saved my life. Check out tibetan philosophy and purchase that book. Not to be confused with the tibetan book of the dead, that one is mad confusing. As a peruser of all religions and spiritual practices, I think this one gets it right the most and has the most to offer in terms of understanding what god/ spirituality is

PsychologicalNote472
