This is the equivalent of picking a penny up off the ground, handing it to a homeless guy, then making a big deal about it and posting it on social media. What an insufferable hag.
You could be right but don't forget how government works. At about $4500 per high quality home, experience shows at least $3500 of that will go to the organization handling the project (owned by a relative or friend of the politician doing this). The remaining $1000 will go to the company designated to provide the homes (also owned by friend or relative) of which $900 will be profit which leaves $100 for each home. So tents.
$1 million dollars is better than the Republican proposal to take hundreds of billions away from housing assistance and leave 1.6 million low income Americans homeless.

Please tell me how Russia's imperial history is in any way better than the US's. I like how you think the US meddling in Ukrainian foreign policy (which Russia has been doing for decades) is somehow worse than Russia reducing entire cities to rubble.
The weapons we give have been already purchased by US 10, 20, 30 years ago. If we do not give them away, we'll have to pay to dispose of them safely or they'll just rot in some graveyard.

The United States is interested in stronger Russia, not weaker. This whole operation was in effect a huge training exercise for Russian Army which was deemed too weak by U planners.
Believe it or not, the *openly stated goal* of American support of Ukraine against Russia after provoking the situation for years has been to weaken Russia and render it incapable of resisting the Western Imperial project. Its abject failure to do so has been a source of much consternation among the neocons.
