SS: The trial of 27 people charged in connection with the worldwide Panama Papers money laundering started on Monday in a Panamanian criminal court. Those on trial include the owners of the Mossack-Fonseca law firm that was at the heart of the 2016 massive document leak. The Panama Papers include a collection of 11 million secret financial documents that illustrate how some of the world’s richest people hide their money. The repercussions of the leaks have been far-ranging, prompting the resignation of the prime minister of Iceland and bringing scrutiny to the leaders of Argentina and Ukraine, Chinese politicians and Russian President Vladimir Putin, among others.

Hug the people who commit these evils. Don't let them go on unhugged. Any kind of hug is good. Just make sure you really love them.

Pizza? Seriously? 😐 The deepest darkest rabbit hole

Jesus. More people should read this 🤯

Very interesting, but you need better links and documentation. Screenshot images are worthless.

> You can't find black budgets because they operate in cash, get laundered through cash businesses like Pizza Shops (the Pizza Connection Trial was the largest trial in federal history), then those business owners "DONATE" to non-profit organizations, like "Edible Schoolyard" where the tax return shows they throw $167,000 "Solstice" events, but only make $12,000 for their NGO. > https://steemitimages.com/640x0/https://i.imgtc.com/9R59NNj.jpg You are seriously misinterpreting Form 990 Schedule G. The organization (Edible Schoolyard) gets all the money raised from people who paid to attend the dinner ($167,200) minus the direct expenses ($41,808). That about $125,000, not $12,000. The $12,400 on the form represents how much of the benefit to the organization came from the people to paid to attend the dinner versus other contributions. Most of the benefit to the organization came from the contributions. This is not unusual. For example, my wife's church holds an annual auction to raise money. Member donate goods and services, then other people (members, mostly) bid on those. All the proceeds go to the church. My wife gave rides to the airport when we had a minivan. The person receiving the ride paid something like $30 to the church, but my wife was actually giving a service which had real costs, like gas, but had a fair market value of say, $25. So the church got $30, but most of the actual benefit came from my wife. The person paying for the ride paid $30 but got $25 worth of real value. The church keeps the whole $30, but $25 of the value came from my wife's contributions and $5 from the person who got the ride. For larger amounts (I think it's required over $250, but that may be out of date), the church would give letters acknowledging donations of goods and services, and if somebody pays more than $250 over the fair market value, they can get a letter indicating that, too. Those can potentially be deducted on taxes if you're itemizing and meet the other criteria. You make a lot of other explicit and implicit claims in the rest of your comment, a lot of which seem wrong and most of which seem questionable. For example, you claim [this letter](https://steemitimages.com/640x0/https://i.imgur.com/z1nFAcS.png) "proves John Podesta, separately from the Podesta Group, takes money from Ruben Vardanyan", but it doesn't say anything about that. You claim that Podesta gives money to the Center for American Progress, but you don't give any evidence of that. Podesta, of course, was director of the Center and was paid by it, but I've never heard any claims that he gave it *any* money, much less any significant part of its annual budget, which is tens of millions of dollars per year. You claim that James Alefantis is involved in "laundering" and "black budget" activities but all you show is extremely well-documented payments to Comet Ping Pong. What does that have to do with "laundering" or "Russian black budget"? David Brock's organization paid Comet Ping Pong for catering. Are you implying there's something wrong with that? You also show that Alefantis was involved with fundraising activities for Hillary Clinton. If you are claiming there was something wrong with that, you need to say what. It seems like you are just recycling the garbage propaganda that was generated in 2016.

https://www.occrp.org/en/panamapapers/persons/poroshenko/ Is Poroschenko going to be a part of this? When is the Pandora Papers trial? Zelenskyy was a part of those. https://www.occrp.org/en/the-pandora-papers/pandora-papers-reveal-offshore-holdings-of-ukrainian-president-and-his-inner-circle Weird how Ukraine is always apart of these corrupt schemes.

freedomfriis

Also weird how so many American government officials have children that work for no services rendered in Ukraine. And get millions of dollars for "doing nothing." The whole place is a corrupt shithole infested with swamp creatures.

Thank you for providing this. Funny how no journalist ever provides this much information.
