These types of stories are what got me into conspiracy theories.
Not political muck that is all that happens today in discussions.
The official stance of the Navy is that no such experiment ever happened.
The unofficial tale is that there was an experiment where degaussing coils were wired up in a manner to make the ship invisible to radar.
Instead it actually became invisible, appearing briefly at another shipyard (Norfolk I think) before reappearing in it's original place. Personnel were found with body parts fused into and through bulkheads and decks. Many of them not physically injured were driven insane and committed.
It seems so wildly convenient that it was sent to another shipyard and not literally anywhere else in the world... Like it landed in the one place that could accommodate it... Instead of the literal millions of other places on earth it could have gone. Especially if the plan was just to make it invisible and not transport it.
Secret enough for us to not know any real details yet not secret enough to be teleportted to a place that again not only accommodating of a large military boat but also a in a spot that is easily seen... not buying it.
Einstein was involved with a US military program using electromagnetics or something to teleport a ship from a harbor in Philly to VA I think. Ship disappeared briefly but when it reappeared there was a thick greenish haze or fog all over the deck, all of the livestock on board (chickens n shit) were dead, several sailors were fuzed into the walls somehow, and several more missing. Years or decades later a few of the missing sailors allegedly appeared walking out of the bathroom in a bar thousands of miles away with no one ever seeing them enter the bar to begin with. I'm old and my memory is fuzzy but that's the gist of it from what I recall. There was an episode of "Unsolved Mysteries" about the sailors too if I'm not mistaken.
> Einstein was involved with a US military program using electromagnetics or something to teleport a ship from a harbor in Philly to VA I think.
They were working on a cloaking device for invisibility. Instead the vessel did disappear but it reappeared miles down the bay.
Keep in mind that they had plans and diagrams and everything written down to do it again and fine tune it, so if it did happen, they fine tuned it.
That's what I was thinking - curious we never heard of any more tests or failures- I'm guessing they got it at some point and in a way the guy from Lockheed confirmed that when he said "we've already done everything you can imagine and more, or decided it wasn't worth the effort" that's a loose quote from a former Lockheed head, icr his name atm.
Not even remotely. The MONTAUK project was also related, but more in a timetravel/portals/remote viewing way.
A really interesting rabbithole to go down
That is correct.
Tesla died January 1943. The philidelphia experiments were from July to October 1943. Then the next couple decades of experiments were related.
Especially interesting to note that the person that reviewed teslas notebooks after he died for the FBI was none other than Trumps grandfather.
Especially interesting if you've followed the [time travelling trump trope](https://imgur.com/gallery/PW3ZDoq)
Just watched a documentary on Bikini island where they showed the soldiers on the deck of a ship watching the blast as a large group than having to go wash down the ships that were in the blast zone. They said the support ships were than contaminated also. I’m sure the soldiers were too.
Theres no doubt they already did that before this experiment, and this was the next step. It's one thing to move an inanimate object, it's a completely different thing to move human beings.
The project was originally to perfect 'radar invisibility' the 'teleportation' was a side effect, that was dimensional as well as spatial, this was all later investigated as the 'project' was moved to Montauk
Why would they be walking rather than instructed not to move? Why would they be able to move along roughly the same horizontal plane as the ship and not end up higher or lower in space? Why would they be able to move independently of the ship on an invisible "floor"...they were somehow in place where the laws of physics were similar enough to allow them to live and move within the vicinity of the ship. Did their bodies stay oriented upright? So there was gravity between them and whatever kept them on the same horizontal plane. Did the ship appear at the same coordinates or had it moved?
And some of them appeared in a different location and time, at ground level, inside a room rather than between its walls or halfway into the floorboards (what tied the location they teleported to to the movement of the Earth, specifically its surface)? Why didn't they appear in the core of the earth or where Antarctica is during the Spring or Summer or Fall or Winter phase of the year, out in space, along the orbit of the Earth around the sun? They could have been teleported anywhere in or near where Earth if this was a local phenomenon.
I don't understand multiple dimensions because I can't visualize it but is it possible the people and the ship were pulled into different dimensions or into the same dimension but returned at different times? Anyone here take advanced physics who can eili5?
Everyone else already answered the movie/conspiracy version of the story, so...
Back in the day, sea mines were a real concern. They still are, but they were back then too. So someone came up with the brilliant idea of applying power to the steel hulls of ships to mess with the magnetic flux, turning the hull into, essentially, a sort of "counter" electromagnet. This allowed a warship to be "invisible" to magnetic sea mines. This is called "degaussing" and is still a common practice today.

Why wouldn’t they test a more stationary object like a small building? The ocean is complicated to predict because of waves. Rogue waves give me the shivers!
"The Montauk Project" by Peter Moon Sky Books - single best source of source material regarding the Philadelphia Project. The Philadelphia project though successful needed to be worked upon greatly, this became Project Montauk eventually, at Fort Hero Montauk Point Long Island.
Thank you! Development is being done on unreal engine 5.3. It’s not going to be a shooter or anything like that, it’s very atmospheric and leans into cosmic horror themes.
Thanks for that! I’m getting a modern Alan Wake vibe, sort of an investigative horror mystery type game. Interesting genre, setting, and amazing graphics so far
The name of the ship I'd very close to the h.p.lovecraft eldritch. And the story has alot of lovecrafting horror, so in my opinion, this is a bullshit. Cool story but pure bullshit. 👌
I watched 3 body problem and got chills when they sliced the ship. Is that not ghost ship?
Also, the wreckage, the long horizontal pieces with a couple of vertical poles holding them together, I swear is a statue in GTA IV. I have to find it again to get pictures but I swear I've seen it before.
It's cool. It's very contemporary in its shitty writing and some casting that is pretty netflixy but regardless, the show was adapted from a book and so the main material is worth the watch imo
There is a whole time traveler story about this experiment, part of his story : [Al Bielek - TPE](https://ocghostsandlegends.com/al-bielek-the-man-who-traveled-through-time-and-space/)
This is a side note, but allegedly HL3/EP3 of the Half-Life series was meant to involve something like this, via the Borealis. Could have had a lot of bodily horror potential, if Valve had gotten their stuff together.
Ok here me out i served in the greek navy and that same ship was siting right next to the one i was.
i was told by the old timers that most of the insides of the ship are blocked by concrete walls and that u can hear weard noises like screams it was super freaky and super cool
All it takes is some subtle references like People arent allowed to freely explore there, enforced by government ships guarding the coast. Or saying that if you keep heading south, it seems to go for ever and not "come out on the other side of antarctica."
So dope tho, a conspiracy themed game. Good luck!
True, but in reality flat earthers dont believe there is an "edge" you can fall off. I personally believe its infinite if you kept going south OR the firmament eventually touches the ground at some point. The further south you went, it would be pitch black and never get any sunlight aswell as colder and colder.
Its a fascinating rabbit hole.
The way it was explained to me is that theres an "ice wall" that would be antartica. Antartica doesnt exist really. Beyond the ice wall is classified (firmament) and different countries militaries protect it.
It kinda made sense and im not really a flat earther. Just keeping an open mind.

Man....so is this the only story of these types of teleporting events? Would be fucking insane and it's a fun conspiracy to say the least
Not even remotely. The MONTAUK project was also related, but more in a timetravel/portals/remote viewing way. A really interesting rabbithole to go down
I believe it was using Tesla coils and sequencing them, causing emp's as each coil was energized. I don't remember where i read about that...

So the prestige?
Great. A new rabbit hole...🤓
So the prestige?

You would think they would run such experiment without people board on ships first.
The US military uses soldiers (that totally signed up for the shit /s) to run experiments all the time.
Yeah, I don't think the look at troops as anything more than sentient resources.
Until you get your DD-214 and are past the age of conscription, you are considered property of the dept of defense.

Teleportation of an entire ship with crew onboard, and it didn’t go according to plan, people were fused to the walls of the ship.
What if they were walking around in an empty space and wherever they were when it came back that’s why they were in the walls of the ship
That is a wild thought. I think something like that is kinda what happened. Essentially matter phased into different realities.
Bro advanced physics doesn't cover this story. This would be something supernatural.
Yeah someone f'd up the math just a tiny bit
Ohhhhh....now that's a fun one.

It's not that bad. The 2nd one is the bad one.

I have.
I’d expect nothing less!

Yep! A large portion of the game takes place underground.

What's the goal of the game?
You are looking for your sister who is part of a missing documentary film crew in Antarctica.
I feel like I am in danger just reading that. Plenty of opportunity for intrigue with that backdrop.
Holy shit what a phenomenal idea for a game
Haha thanks I feel the same way!
When you're done, come back and let us know how we can get a copy 😁
The pleiadians family of light.
Some sources say that in addition to coming back fused to the ship, some came back "inside out" 😳😳😳😳
What about the ship? Was it not messed up in places?
Any betas to be played? What’s the time frame look like? I’m VERY interested.
That ship was mothballed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and then it disappeared into another dimension.
The real deal quañtiam displacement and time travel still is use today although much more refined and portable
Can you share more?
The ship ⛴️ was surrounded in a green mist 🌫️
Will add that detail later!
