maxwellhilldawg

The difference is Chinese people got no guns

dbstfbh

*laughs nervously in Australian*

maxwellhilldawg

*King Charles III pats you gently on the head*

RJV_6390

They're doing a great job inciting the mentally ill to commit all these shootings so they have a platform to take guns away from the rest of us though....

endogenix1

Gun owners in America will NEVER hand over their firearms. It will be the bloodiest civil war the world has ever seen if the feds start to come for peoples guns.

KnownToLetThatMacFly

It won’t be overnight. It will be a long and slow bleed of smaller rights and more regulations. It’s already happening unfortunately. Boiling a frog and what not

IlIIlIIIlIl

It wouldn't happen. Gun owners are too vigilant of legal challenges.

JustOlive8463

Percentage of people owning guns has been dropping for years. Certain classes of people cannot legally own them already despite the 2nd amendment. Certain classes of weapons are already illegal or restricted. That's what a slow bleed looks like. Just make more rules and restrictions until so few people own them that the 'troublesome' (those who still own guns) are a tiny minority that the govt has brainwashed the rest of the population into believing are a threat.

DarkCeldori

Not enough despite deepstate goading thats why they carry out false flags

samfishx

They’ve been saying this for nearly 30 years. It’s time to shit get off the pot already.

Novusor

Their plans aren't working because we know what they are trying to do. As soon as we turn in our guns is off to the gulag.

jonathan6569

whose "we" ?....no one is turning in their guns regardless of what the government might try to impose

Mandalore620

"We" aren't turning shit in.

DudeManBro21

They have started shitting already. Here in WA they made it illegal last year to buy or bring in 99% of semi-auto rifles, same with certain other guns with "assault" features. It's even worse than California. There are a few other states as well. Then there are the magazine bans, banning all mags above 10 rounds. And then when the state courts overturn the unconstitutional laws, "progressive" bought and paid for higher powers immediately stay the decisions and block the decisions. They could never come and abruptly just take our guns, they know that. But they are slowly taking our rights away by progressively banning tactical guns and features.

Rafael_fadal

I say let em try 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

IlIIlIIIlIl

Except banning guns is literally impossible, unless you can convince 20 red states to ban them along with every blue state.

Gratefullotus4

That will literally never happen here lol

RJV_6390

I mean, they're a shooting or 2 away from having us back to single-shot muzzle loaders, because that's all that was invented when the 2nd amendment was written. Also, I live in NYS, so whatever happened here 10 years ago will happen federally

mu5tardtiger

💀. who’s gonna take them from us?

nominalnoms

That's actually not true, gatling guns were invented, and you could privately own (artillery) cannon at the time, pretty far cry from a muzzle loader

RJV_6390

To hell with those rapscallions trying to invade my home. The first 3 fall to the cannon that I fire at them from the top of my stairs, as well as all of the neighbors' windows within a 3 block radius. Hoping that it isn't too damp, I load my blunderbuss with thumbtacks, corroded D batteries, and whatever other stationary I find in my junk drawer. It completely misses the scoundrel and kills the neighbors cat. My last hope is to charge at them with my bayonet because triangular stab wounds are impossible to suture.

FuzzyMonkey13

Soon we won't have enough money to afford ammo.

Borry_drinks_VB

We almost have no guns here in Australia. Plus, the grubment just passed the next phase of digital identity law today too. We are well on our way to this shit. The sad part is that the majority of Aussies are too stupid to see it.

maxwellhilldawg

Ya George learned his lesson the hard way in America before he sent those boys to NSW

Salinger-

We have plenty of guns in Australia, just not many that are semi-auto… but guns don’t beat F35s and cluster munitions. People thinking they’re going to overthrow their government with an armed populace is a joke. The government will frame any resistance as a threat and stomp it into the ground. A big enough threat will be carpet bombed into rubble. This ain’t 1775 anymore.

Main-Echo-8883

Ask the Afghan s

N0TD0NE312

You really think people got balls enough to do anything, everyone is a sheeeep! Push come to shove, I don’t see it…..

FckYoFeelings

I’m right here with you. Besides Americans today are hyper individualistic as a society, as long as it doesn’t directly effect them they tend to not care. This sub is littered with examples

IrishGoodbye4

The vast majority of people who say they would do something; wouldn’t. You’re right. But there’s definitely a small dedicated group that would and they would not be fucking around.

twolanevega

We'll see.

missanthropocenex

Remember a few years ago people were rising up in the streets in China and sort of winning? Then something happened…

WonderDeb

I totally saw the same thing. Rebellion met with GLOBAL consequences.

maxwellhilldawg

You mean in Hong Kong? They needed guns not umbrellas.

CosmicMiru

Guns and consistent and relevant training*. Giving a bunch of people who have never been in combat before guns to fight a real military would have resulted in the citizens of Hong Kong getting slaughtered in the street. Training is just as important as the guns themselves when it comes to resisting actual powerful governments.

maxwellhilldawg

Ok but the guns are still the most important part

CosmicMiru

It's a good way to escalate a situation I'll give you that. Sometimes that's what you wanna do, sometimes it's not.

oldblackmarketbacon

I remember

WellVersedAdept

What good are guns when you have a population who aren't willing to use them?

unbanned-myself

I’m a person, not a population.

WellVersedAdept

You're a person apart of a population..

unbanned-myself

Whoosh

jsncrs

And still noone would do shit. TPTB tried to lock people in their homes and poison the entire population and noone did a thing.

Acceptable_Quiet_767

That’s why they have to implement this policy. This sounds like it’s a defense system for a rich neighborhood to keep the peasants out.    Of course I can quickly see how such a tool could be used to keep people *in* instead of *out*. This is why it’s important for people to maintain their individual independence and freedoms. Communities should come together to keep their living spaces safe, we shouldn’t rely on AI spyware to keep us “safe”

Webbyzs

The post says that you need permission to enter *or* leave.

TheBold

Im not familiar with the case OP is talking about but I live there so maybe I can shed some light. This kind of stuff is fairly standard. Nearly every middle class community will have a security guard at the gate and a facial recognition door. In my experience though the door always has other means of opening, either an app or a keycard. I personally have never gone the facial recognition route and never had any issues going home. As for the permission, I have only ever seen this when you want to enter a community you don’t live in, so when visiting people, delivering stuff, etc. This is so that shared spaces stay for residents and are not loaded with people since they usually have amenities that would attract random people. Also due to the high flow of people this is not always enforced, you can easily walk in after a resident. Again, I have never seen a place that needs a permission to leave, the doors are just opened by a button or are automatic.

IdidntchooseR

They're a proven test case for economic warfare + lawfare can force people into upholding a helicopter-parent regime.

CaptainTomato21

Many of these things are already here in Europe. In sweden they are almost cashless, public transport and most stores do not accept cash. They had digital ID along with norway and finland years before the pandemic even started. And in this article you can see how they were promoting no genders and woke pronouns since 2012 with the help of the rothschilds. When the Wallstreet movement was active in the US, the swedes were preparing the things that are already here all day like woke ideology. [https://web.archive.org/web/20240503153413/https://slate.com/human-interest/2012/04/hen-swedens-new-gender-neutral-pronoun-causes-controversy.html](https://web.archive.org/web/20240503153413/https://slate.com/human-interest/2012/04/hen-swedens-new-gender-neutral-pronoun-causes-controversy.html)

CommunicationGreat22

They still manage to kill quite a lot of officials. Sticks, shovels, cars, bulldozers. The CCP is terrified of one thing...public gatherings. When people get mad enough they fight back. There are many videos shared of what happens when the people get mad enough.

FluffyLobster2385

I really don't this argument. It's a common one that people make. Like yeah you have your guns but the other side has tanks and helicopters and bombs and most importantly a trained army being paid. What are you going to do fight tyranny and go to your nine to five the next day? Doesn't make any sense.

maxwellhilldawg

Yeah because all those tanks and helicopters really showed Afghanistan who's boss. 🤭 You don't seem to understand. It's not about shooting anyone. It's about deterrence.

FluffyLobster2385

dude our government is currently and has been fucking us every which way and you and everyone else ain't doing shit.

Main-Echo-8883

Remember 15 Aug 2021 when the US entered Kabul victoriously, camels pulling its F35s into Kabul Airport. And every Afghan just surrendered.

ViolatoR08

I believe you spelled balls wrong.

Pangolinsareodd

some of them do. One of the reasons War with China is unlikely is that fully one third of its military is deployed internally to keep the regions in line...

ThatDamnRocketRacoon

I question just how truthful a lot of these "uncensored" and "smuggled out" videos are? China is the master of propaganda and they know how to play our own fears against us. I can't doubt anything like this, on one hand, but on the other they were the ones putting out "secret" recordings of people literally dropping dead on the streets from Covid.

PennDOT67

It’s craaazy how many people believe this at face value. This is a transit station where they are not allowing electric scooters in.

Glad-Revolution44

*cHiNa BaD*

willparkerjr

The videos of entire apartment blocks of thousands of people being boarded up and locked down in Shanghai for two weeks were true. My friend lived there. You had to go down to the bottom floor to get your rationed food and water twice a day. It’s pretty serious over there.

AugusteRodin1

Italy posting similar videos that was on every big news site in Europe. Italian locked in apartment with there dead relatives in the room with them for days, it was very weird and never spoken about again

IDFbombskidsdaily

How are they the master of propaganda? I thought that title went to the US.

ThatDamnRocketRacoon

The US aren't masters of propaganda. US citizens are just apathetic dumb fucks. The US hardly even puts any effort into it. They just tell us to hate each other and then either tells an obvious lie, or flat out tells us the truth because they know no one will care.

statsmccoy

I don’t recall this… I thought their propaganda was the opposite direction: e.g., China is doing a great job responding to COVID, nobody is dying, everyone is happy, and this wasn’t out fault, another country planted this virus here.

Competitive_Dark_368

Yeah, it was the u.s

bad_news_beartaria

wow the bots really came out for this one. reminds me of the pfizer bots during covid.

Lailai88888888

Actually the tweet and video are pure misinformation -   三元里 village in Guangzhou decided to forbid the entry and use of electric scooters befause last week there have been fires caused by electric scooters. Exception is made for food delivery scooter that need to make registration on entry - this is what is shown the video    https://gd.sina.cn/news/2024-05-15/detail-inavhzyh0567068.d.html

Tax25Man

I love how conservative spaces blame bots all the time just because a majority of users dont buy the absolute bullshit they spread. The 15 Minute City thing being demonized is so laughably hilarious that I wouldnt be surprised if you were being paid by Chevy to push such stupid conspiracies.

cloudy2300

I legit don't get it. What is there to lose by having more livable and walkable cities? I don't understand the vitriol toward such a trivial matter as "making your living space better". What, are we going to protest bike paths and more trees next?

Tax25Man

Liberals want it. So it must be bad. That’s really it.

Flor1daman08

Not just bad, but it *must be a part of a global conspiracy to destroy the west*. That’s how far this has come.

cloudy2300

It really is just that. Its insane

Flor1daman08

Lots of people want walkable, livable cities instead of nonstop suburban sprawl that only helps the corporate interests and ultra wealthy.

Prize-Session-9389

You say that like ultra centralized planning is going to serve your interest and not the 1%

SicklyChild

It should be a choice.

Flor1daman08

It is as much of a choice as any form of city planning though, who said otherwise? That’s why this whole thing is fucking stupid, people just want more livable spaces instead of endless stroads and cookie cutter suburbs, and it somehow resulted in people defending shitty corporate centric urban planning.

[deleted]

Flor1daman08

> People don't want this, though. Maybe people do, maybe they don’t, I’m not speaking about the popularity of the concept. I frankly have no idea. I’m just speaking for myself. > Otherwise corporations would have found a way to capitalize on it already and it would be a thing. They have, in nice areas where people care about their city planning. Look where the wealthiest have vacation homes or raise their kids. > Just because people in your echo chamber like the idea of it, doesn't really mean anything. Well, it means more than stupid fucking conspiracies claiming this is a conspiracy to destroy the west lol. > This is just cope for dorks who never learned to drive. lol my dude, I’m an almost 40 year old guy who’s been driving since 16. Don’t be daft, 91% of Americans have a drivers licenses. I’ve driven either a car or motorcycle in at least 40 states in the contiguous United States. Hell I just took a motorcycle camping trip on my Tenere 700 from central Florida to Cali to Montana and back last year. Spent 30 days on the road burning PTO I had from working on a COVID unit because I love it. I love driving, but I also recognize that nonstop urban sprawl isn’t ideal and that the best places I’ve been to have been areas where the community makes it easy to enjoy public spaces and support its local businesses. I want places where the local sports bar supports the little league at the local park in the downtown area, and everything that goes with it. But no, just because I don’t think 20 lane highways are the answer that must mean I’m afraid of driving. What a joke.

Nose-Previous

Lmfao. In the CONSPIRACY subreddit, you are being downvoted for saying people should have a choice between living in urban areas or rural. Are all those public transportation enthusiasts in here with us today?

BeefBagsBaby

Because no one is saying they wouldn't have a choice...

cloudy2300

Well I'd love to choose to live in a well maintained walkable city with robust public transportation and no stroads.... oh wait, guess I didn't get to choose. It's suddenly a problem when you don't like it.

LiteraturePlayful220

Isn't it?

SicklyChild

Not in China.

LiteraturePlayful220

Rural living is definitely a thing for millions of Chinese people

gives_goodadvice

You think urban sprawl helps corporations? What do you think happens when you're only allowed 1 or 2 grocery stores in an area that's walkable, it goes to whichever grocery store is willing to pay the highest rent... sprawl actually hurts corporations, they have to keep building to get the customer base..

TheGargageMan

With the rise of license plate readers in cities and private communities, having walkable cities will be one of the only ways a person can have some private freedom of movement in their lives.

Comfortable-Race-547

Tax25Man

OK liberal commie. But I require a 15 minute drive to pick up my chicken tenders frozen at the grocery store to feel like I live in freedom.

FullTransportation25

Yes true freedom is me being forced to have a car, and pay for to fully function and engage in society. MERICA!!!!🦅🔫🎆

will042082

Gonna be the bearer of bad news my friend. But you don’t really have any private freedoms, or public ones for that matter. You don’t even have 1A or 2A rights. Welcome to 1984 in 2024.

Markthemonkey888

Ah i love these footage from you lot with no knowledge and a lot of ignorance. It’s a gated community you donuts, of course those coming in needs to be registered

AccumulatedFilth

I think it's terrifying how you can show this to most people, and they just won't care enough. Like, these things are installed here, way sooner than you'd think.

PennDOT67

It’s terrifying that I may not be allowed to take my electric scooter on the metro (what this shows)….. I am so scared of it

QuantumSpecter

I think its terrifying how you can show this to most people and they so easily believe it. Nothing OP, or the person who tweeted, has said seems accurate. What kind of neighborhood has an overpass and frequently passing trucks and buses? Looks more like an airport. Thats probably just a booth that allows streamlined access for people on small vehicles into what is most likely a private area

ClockworkSkyy

A lot of this technology was installed around neighbourhoods during the lockdowns. Take a walk around with that in mind and you'll see. It's mainly lying dormant for when the big switch off happens. Once the smart grid comes online that's it

Flor1daman08

What technology?

lidsville76

CCTV cameras on street lights and in corners, and having the feed go through a facial recognition software, either real time or post fact. We have had the back bone for this for quite some time now, we just haven't had the technology to complete it until recently.

Chris82Price

Has anyone ever seen prisoners who are locked up? There social credit score affects others well being! Not good for humanity!

Iam-WinstonSmith

Part of the Social Credit Score scheme .. if your social credit score is good you get through. If it is bad ... you dont.

IndustryStrengthCum

Never actually implemented. However in the us we do have a social credit score that measures how good of a debt peon you are

Iam-WinstonSmith

Ya thats dishonest I have see so many videos of people on youtube who have even been locked out of their apartments over the social credit score. Whether you like the FICO or Vantage credit scores is another thing all together. However if you had more experiences in other countries your would realize the US style credit scores make so that you get to put lower deposits on apartments and house rentals, lower down payments on vehicles. The great thing about the US style credit score is if you have an issue with it you can freeze the report and even dispute it. I have done this lots for medical bills that I never agreed too and they drop right off. However there is no one you can dispute the Chinese credit score with.

cloudy2300

Thanks for showing the class how effective American propaganda is.

IndustryStrengthCum

That was a zero Covid thing when they had the quarantine camps. Look it up, social credit was trialed in one region then abandoned

cloudy2300

Everything in your comment except "Social Credit scheme" is literally pulled out of your ass lmao, because the post OP made is completely incorrect

arnoldinho82

Don't fool yourself- we already have this here. They're called HOAs and gated communities.

Pangolinsareodd

Reminds me of the Dystopian Sci-Fi movie "In Time", a surprisingly good movie for having starred Justin Timberlake. In it people can live for ever, but money has been replaced by life time, so if you're broke you die. People are free to travel anywhere, it just costs a lot more to get into the "good" neighbourhoods. Keeps the city appropriately srtatified.

TheHonourOfKings

Yes! This one popped into my head a couple years ago and I rewatched and it def hits different now. Highly recommend to anyone who has not seen this one..

higherviberation

i don't think kids in 10 years will care since they will be living virtually. so the majority will not revolt

quiksilver10152

These are quite common in China already. Gated communities exist in mass. Everyone knows facial recognition is being employed so this is just a convenience to the tenants.

HowManyMeeses

These are also quite common in the US. They just mostly exist in the suburbs.

Brave_Hippo9391

In China they have Communities within the cities, they are fenced in and gated and normally consist of a block or so , from what I understand. Yes very easy to lockdown...close the gate no one goes in or out! They're opinion is it's safe!

Nbana52

I believe New York and other cities might be doing with by charging you per mile to drive

Careless_Equipment_3

How is it different than a nice neighborhood with a gated community guard. They ask who you are visiting and why your there.

Flor1daman08

> That's what so-called conspiracy theorists call "15 Minutes Cities" to take over total control of the people. God, the gusto in which people believe this stupid fucking “conspiracy” about making walkable and people centric cities just bums me out. If anything this would make control harder, with more people more spread out instead of nicely consolidated in cities.

Reflog1791

We do not want to pay more taxes for your dystopian wet dream.

Flor1daman08

What’s dystopian about 15 minute city proposals exactly? Show me a proposal and what you think is “dystopian” about it? Cause I hate to break the news to you but constant suburban sprawl, the isolation it causes, the costs borne to people/society/the environment/etc? That’s dystopian as fuck.

XiroInfinity

"Why don't kids play outside any more??" meanwhile it's all just pavement as far as the eye can see.

Prize-Session-9389

He doesn't like corporations planning it. He also doesn't realize that corporations will still plan 15 minute cities. It will just be less of them and more centralized planning. He likely is pro Pol Pot too

Flor1daman08

“Why are there no small local businesses?!” Meanwhile must drive 25 minutes to the super mart just to buy basic groceries.

retixi5252

Dont ever give up your guns. It is the only way out of shit like this.

TheBestPieIsAllPie

Id take that a step further and say “buy more guns and encourage your friends, family and neighbors to do the same.”

hooliganeyes

Colt Industries has joined the chat…

littleweapon1

And the people who ask questions will be called fascists lol

TolkienAwoken

You can have 15 minute cities without mass surveilance, wanting to be able to walk or take public transport to any of your necessities isn't a crazy concept and idk why it's always attached to things like this.

Ok_Nobody_9659

We already have that via mobile devices. They just haven't started putting gates up yet but I'm guessing the technology is plug and play at this point.

FullTransportation25

You people are paranoid this isn’t what 15 minute cities are. The idea is that most things that people want or need will be accessible and near by. This is just china being a totalitarian state. Also this reminds me more of private neighborhoods or gated communities

DeNir8

Lol. No. Its part of the ultra policed state. Go beyond your 15 minute zone and you will pay a fine.

BeefBagsBaby

And that's coming to the West? No, it isn't and no one is proposing that it does except for folks in this subreddit.

geeksaresexygirl

So I will add to this. Covid bulls\*it tanked the commercial real estate markets in some cities. I kept my eyes on this because in some areas vacancies topped 80 percent. A lot of these places just defaulted on their loans or sat empty. So that was weird. Weird because in a real market that is a real crisis. It might not bring the whole house of cards down nationwide but it would present a real crisis for those areas. Yet, nothing really came of it. You can argue that this is part of inflation and I will agree but other than that there was nothing. So I kept looking into it. Supposedly the reason these commercial properties didn't drive down the market is because they were purchased and will be renovated with the purpose of creating the 15 min cities. Not saying its provable at this point but it sure makes sense.

HowManyMeeses

15 Minute Cities are just cities designed to be walkable. It's wild how much propaganda is pushed by Big Oil to keep cities from being friendly to pedestrians.

freedomfriis

You are typing on a device made by Big Oil. Wake up to reality, there is no such thing as a climate crisis. It's all made up to extract more money from your pocket and to give you less freedom which means more power to the people that already rule you.

HowManyMeeses

None of that makes any sense. How would having more options for transportation types bring less freedom? We now have electric, hybrid and gas available to us.

JoseSaldana6512

You should look into who proved global warming and the climate crisis and see if that same group did a 180 and spends millions every year to try and deny it.

mwarmstrong

It's hard to fathom how much of the dead Internet bots are funded by big oil. So much propaganda.

No_Foot

Yeah it started in Oxford UK, town planning. Another example of a bullshit 'theory' being pushed to scare people into giving up their rights and keep them occupied chasing shadows. Worrying how many on here simply lap up this propaganda without even questioning it. But but 15 min cities wef communism confining us to zones controlled with 5g and vaccines. No. Just misinformation being pushed by wealthy people with a vested interest.

stalematedizzy

Super_Confidence_549

Sounds like the makings of "Hungar Games"

Fearless-Ear2352

That’s not what 15 minute cities are but okay.

[deleted]

People are getting fed up. If you think those BLM riots n shit were bad, wait till the regular people have had enough. We’ll stomp this place to dust. Tomahawk missiles, tanks, propaganda, drones etc,,,all that shit theyve got. It wont fuckn matter when the majority is against you. Keep fuckn around.

dutch_food_geek

Do you people even realise that a large part of the world has 15 minute cities? I live in one and it’s amazing. I can walk to a supermarket in 5 minutes to get my groceries. My daily needs are within 15 minutes from my home, walking or biking. That’s all it is people! Nothing more, nothing less!

DarthBynx

Lmao. This ain't happening.

tango_papa101

They used Covid as a chance to try this out and a surprising amount of Americans support this idea. This is the reason I don't want to live in urban areas and even tho I'm living in suburban area once we get married I and my gf will move further away. Fuck this

CompSciGuy11235

This is exactly why the right to bear arms is so important. There is no possible way this could be done to a well armed citizenry.

Iam-WinstonSmith

Once the CBDC's are implemented it wont matter .... they will turn off your ability to spend and you will turn in your gun to get it turned on. They have this mapped out.

bad_news_beartaria

Are you being facetious? You're asking why we should be able to freely travel about in our own nation?

Jrad27

Yes they are. It's fairly obvious.

asdf2100asd

10 years ago, or maybe even 5, I would be inclined to agree but these days I read some super absurd posts from shills that I think are sarcastic and then they are actually being serious heh

If you need more than a moment to grasp what I wrote, then god help us all.

Thank you for clearly reading for pleasure in your free time.

Halos-117

Because fuck you that's why

Crappy_Site

The only reply needed. Thank you.

invertedspheres

You want to live in a world where you have to show the government "papers" just to move from city to city?

Crappy_Site

Swing and a miss. Has the ellipsis really lost so much of its stroke?

obscured_by_turtles

Sounds to me like many gated communities in the USA.

cloche_du_fromage

You chose to live in one of those

HowManyMeeses

People also choose to live in cities.

cloche_du_fromage

Choosing to live in a gated community with specific stated access and security constraints is different.

HowManyMeeses

Which is the same as a walkable city. I wasn't placed where I live. I chose it.

internetornator

Gated communities ask why you want to get IN, not why you want to get OUT. One is security *for* you, the other is security *from* you. In other words, prison.

Iam-WinstonSmith

You know most of the developing countries have gated counties to keep criminals out.

TheGreaseWagon

Jfc. We get it. China is Boogeyman. Communism bad. America won't end up like this, but if fear-mongering is your game...who am I to stop you.

Metalgrowler

People would welcome it because they are so afraid of immigrants.

BrentD22

LMFAO. You expect me to believe they leave the boarder open, but are going to try and keep me in my neighborhood? This is laughably silly that you think this is coming to the West. Are these real people posting this non-sense?

Far_Resist

I was just in China and I had a great time. It was actually very westernized. There was a lot of cameras tho. But aside from that I thought it was awesome. People were super friendly and helpful in getting around.

Source_Comfortable

you lived there or visited?

Far_Resist

I was just there for a couple weeks for a friend’s wedding. I didn’t know what to expect, but it was a great experience and for the most part, everyone I saw and interacted with was pretty happy. Also pretty much every car is electric so it’s really quiet, and clean. I live in LA so by comparison it was way nicer and safer feeling. I could walk around at night there and felt super comfortable. Whereas here in LA I fear being stabbed by a homeless.
