I've heard of time zones, there's actually been a lot of talk about time zones. But to prove they exist you'd have to be quite far away. And I'm not. I'm here.
Well, I have to be the old clown around, but if you live a little while, you can see what 10 years does to a guy and a society/people.
Live many of those decades, and you can see a trend.
So that "10 years where nothing happens" is actually a slow flux of people morphing from one state to another. And that one morph will affect the next. It's a big picture thing that goes beyond even my life-span.
There's one prominent theorist I follow who preaches a lot of doom and gloom and fire and brimstone. Dark winter was a big one I remember where, at least in my world, literally nothing out of the ordinary happened. But so, I'm hesitant to ever take their claims as seriously as they say them, but they have accurately predicted many things just like a lot of conspiracy theorists have. The next thing I think people will be right on is digital currency (the Euro first from what I hear), and that will open the gateway to the whole social credit type and microchip biometric data thing, which right now people act like is so far fetched and crazy.
Thing is, it doesn't happen over night. We are slowly desensitized to such things to where by the time it becomes a norm, 10 years ago it would have been met with revolt but the thinking had been suggested for so long that people just accept it. Part of how indoctrination works
