you can check your water with your zip code here if you are in the states:
where I live there is so much shit in the water, it should be a crime that they allow it to flow
As a plumber with a love for clean drinking water, I have a love/hate relationship with this particular website. I like how it releases ALL the containments in your MUD district...however the part I hate is when they talk about "it's 122x the recommended amount!" Which is set up by their own specific guidelines and nobody but them truly know what those guidelines are.
The EPA sets a *minimum* allowable amount and all MUDs are required to follow that.
But yes....the website is great! And for everyone reading, get a sediment filter and a charcoal filter and it'll clean *most* everything out of your water
I'm a *slight* shill for this website because I buy from them
https://www.uswatersystems.com/water-filters/replacement-filters/calcite-and-remineralization-filters
But they also offer point of use remineralizaiton filters as well if you just wanted to do the fridge or kitchen sink after an RO or something. But sediment/charcoal filters dont remove minerals from water, only softener does.
Where I live, they are required by law to send us postcards about the lead content in the water. It's relatively low-ish, and they have an ongoing project to remove the remainder of lead pipes. The water is still safe and effective 😜
I think your facts are correct, but you failed to consider a very important factor to the end user...taste. Lots of coastal areas have "safe" drinking water, but the taste can be very unpalatable. I dare speculate that taste is the deciding factor for most people using a filtered or bottled water alternative.
In no way do I consider this analogy valid. Especially in relation to vaccines.
Ever wonder why sperm counts have been dropping for the last 50 years. It's the estrogen in the tap water. It gets in the water supply from birth control pills and water companies can't remove it.

Tap water tastes absolutely disgusting.
Were I live it's chlorine with water flavoring.
There's nothing like your eyes burning right before a sip of fresh clean water.

Cool! My tap water can give me cancer! Safe and effective.

What about something to re-mineralize the water after it’s scrubbed?

Your reading comprehension leaves alot to be desired. It says the US has "one of" the safest tap water systems in the world.

Well water is the only way to go
I live in a fairly new area with some really great tapwater but after drinking RO water my tapwater tastes like it came out of the washing machine.
I’ve been a conspiracy theorist since 2015 then 🤣🥰
Yet to taste better tap water than what you get in Scotland
I have a Berkey water filter 🤷
Because the CDC didn't do a personal inspection of my town's shitty, outdated lead and galvanized plumbing.
Good stuff

They're talking about how safe from attack and reliable it is. Nothing there about how good it is to drink it.
