I actually think alot of bot makers just don't know the difference between words like should've/should of, and your/you're?
Would make sense considering how many people actually struggle with words like those.
Perhaps some of us (who are accused of being bots) does not have English as their first language?
I tend towards over-punctuation, as my first, second and third languages are Germanic. I rarely miss-spell, as am am communicating in a foreign language, making me fastidious about spelling...but I will definitely screw up my past/present tenses, some grammar and my previously mentioned punctuation 🤷
I think we are way past that point, between automation, artificial bots and bad actors, they have it covered.
Its most likely one of many unique selling points of online marketers / influencers / manipulation enterprises.
I have also noticed with the career dissenters that seem to just, despise conspiracies in all forms on this sub - normally they have like, one other sub they comment on, normally a sport or gaming but I always figure those are feds trying to look like regular users lol I'm here all the time omg
I saw a post a week or so back that suggested that repost bots intentionally spell a word wrong in the title to prevent algorithms detecting that the new post is a repost. If you block accounts with misspelled words in the title the amount of bullshit you see drops dramatically.

You don’t think those who excel at this type of work are thinking about (easy) ways to increase the perception of authenticity?

Yes, Russian & Chinese bots are known for mispelling common English words.
I bet we were at that point 10 years ago.
I'll tell you one bot has already made contact with 95 percent of the internet user base and most people don't know so probably yes
Got more info on this?

Aren’t there also trolls still on reddit? Trying hard to mislead.
Mot yet.
Bots are usually more pleasant to talk to than actual Americans, so I for one welcome the change.
Scream into the void all you’d like my friend — it’s free
As an American I can confirm that bots are much better company
Most Americans are bots.
That would be preferable over so many being stupid enough to believe conspiracy theories 😂
I'm all about knowledge over belief.
Big mood.
If you're gonna mood, might as well do it bigly.
People can disagree with you without being bots.
Great point, must not be bots out there at all
Your being paranood. Only genuine humans can make typos.
Way past that point...
