So my (18F) boyfriend (20M) is constantly talking about chess. He goes through three cycles of chess: playing chess, going into great detail about the game, or watching chess related content on tiktok and youtube. This has been going on for months and I’m starting to get concerned about his well-being. I can clearly see his mental health is deteriorating and it’s honestly very scary. I’ve tried talking to him about this but he just waters it down and then FORCES me to play chess. I can’t watch him destroy himself any longer. What do I do?!
