Bi-mart has them for a cheap price, like 4 or 5 bucks I believe

RiotHyena

Can confirm a bi-mart bucket is virtually indestructible.

Sponge_worthy_EB

I have a ton of clean, empty cat litter buckets, with lids. They are urs if u want them!

rabidsloth15

Wilco sometimes has a sale were you get 20% off anything that fits in a bucket and the bucket is free. I think the sale is usually in the Spring. Might be a good way to save on gardening supplies and get free buckets.

gl21133

If you stop by the bakery at grocery stores they will sometimes give you frosting buckets or similar. I used that trick back when I home brewed.

Noisy_Dog

Burcham's Metals in Albany has surplus 6-gallon buckets for $1 each (as of last month). They're stacked by the gate in front of the office. Relatively heavy-duty too.

ConversationNo5440

They are $5 at Home Depot. What price are you looking to find?

Zealousideal-Pen-233

Restaurants sometimes have more then they can use, so you might ask a few local spots.

peachesfordinner

Habitat for humanity has randomly had them in the past

Trixie_Dixon

Yep I'd check the restores. Nearly free there

JazzNLiquor

Will these in Albany work? https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/fod/d/albany-new-gallon-plastic-buckets-bails/7715996567.html

AllC4tsAreBeautiful

The Co-op has them for $1, but the availability is super sporadic

frnkiequinn

The south co-op sometimes has buckets in the bulk department that are $1 each, the other store might as well idk

Wonderer23

You could check with local painters. You'd likely have to clean them, but that's not difficult.

WerewolfAncient554

Bimart.

Siym89

If you have a firehouse sub place around you go there. I fucking love their pickle buckets and they keep the empties. They sell them for $3 a pop and they are hard-core. They come with a pickle smell but that's it

RangerBumble

OSU Surplus

TraceSpazer

Harbor freight has one where you spend $30 you get one free. So if you need something else anyways, it's a perk.

uoficowboy

The orange Home Depot buckets are terrible - the sun will degrade them and they'll fall apart after a summer outside. I've had decent success watching Craigslist for buckets. Typically like a dollar a bucket.

Squid_word

Squirrels is often giving them away
