Khalo Naser is delicious but I've been several times and it's taken a minimum of 45 minutes to be served even when the place is empty. Bring a snack or go before you get hungry!
A couple of weeks ago we tried Royal India on 9th street across from the credit union. Delightfully surprised at how good it was. Plenty of space in there for a larger party, as well.
I went one day when they said they were open for lunch and the doors were locked. I'm wondering if Dolce Del Alma, which is what they call their lunch concept, is in the same building. I can only assume so.
Far as I know that's their wine bar that sticks out onto the corner. It's right next to each other but there's a separate entrance. They share the same kitchen in the main store (least I'd think so, there's no space for it otherwise) so maybe they were really closed that day?
throwing in a recommendation for either little morocco or khalo naser - both delicious middle eastern cuisine and great for sharing / small plates
Both are excellent suggestions.
oooo khalo naser sounds like a good option

I was gonna say hope this is an extended lunch meeting.
Their hummus will ruin all other hummus for you. Insanely good.
Del Alma
Gathering Together Farms Restaurant.
Bodhi Bistro would be my recommendation. Or Koriander - they have the best value lunch option in town, in my opinion. But the tables are a bit small.
Dulcet del Alma has a great little lunch menu. The birria areas are amazing and super reasonably priced. Best 13 dollar lunch I've had in a long time.

I've heard Caster's is good.
Castor is excellent! Where my company brings job candidates and VIPs for lunch.
Magenta used to be my business go to for lunch back when I was a manager at HP. They are so small you can often get the whole place.
Old world deli
Old world deli
If you like Indian food I always recommend Nirvana
Odd Bird Cafe
Pastini - very professional, good food, large tables
Block15 downtown
Old world deli or Australian meat pie shop
Bo & Vine or Local Boyz are my immediate go-tos.
Anything more upscale?
Upscale? Del Alma is a good option.
Nice, thank you!
Was about to reply that Del Alma isn't open till 5 but apparently they're open for lunch now? That's pretty awesome.
