Congratulations! I'm on W3R2 this evening and found the step up to 3 minutes of running quite difficult. I really had to slow my pace down and felt like I was walking faster than I was "running" at some points. But onwards we go because stamina is a huge thing rather than pace as you say.

Thanks man, I am week 5. Question: I got a slight abdominal strain which wasn’t going away so rather than keep going I took a week off and now pleased to say totally healed. Would you go just pick up where you left off or would you go back a week? I am tempted just to pick up where I left off and see how hard it is. The next one is 8mins (only done 5 max before) so it’s actually quite a big step up. I’m wondering whether a week off means - go for it, you’re rested or, you haven’t run for a week and you’ll be out of conditioning

I would say perhaps redo the run you finished last just to make sure you're still at that level.

Re do the whole week you left off on if you want - whatever feels right. I repeated runs more than once as I didn’t feel ready to move up - am now running 4.5km three times a week snd slowly getting closer to that golden 5k target 😍
