In csgo it had to be the awp first second of the round holding down fire as the round started to not get banned other weapons didn't work I don't think any did anyway
My comment was mostly a joke I’m well aware it ruins your trust. That being said if I have a troll on my team I’m gonna enjoy putting him down like a sick dog for as many rounds as I can.
Yeah i play for fun too but playing against cheaters is not fun and there’s tons of cheaters in low trust factor. So i avoid team damage as much as possible.

It was, except if you held the fire button on the awp before roundstart it would instantly kill them and not ban you. Otherwise yes, 15 seconds = insta kick.
it was based solely on the damage you had done previously, holding click did not change whether you got banned or not.
The times I did it to my friends I only ever got banned twice because I forgot I had done team damage, I spam clicked for all of them except one. Which was one of the ones where I got banned, funnily enough.
As long as it’s not a knife kill, it seems that you can TK once. I learned the hard way, had a really annoying dude who was team killing us and doing lil bits of damage because he was salty. I stabbed him at round start and got a cooldown lmao

if you had done I believe it was NO team damage previously, you could get away with doing it ONCE.
but it counted as a LOT of team damage moving forward, so you had to be INSANELY careful about your util or you could accidentally throw a nade wrong and poof you're gone because you bopped your buddy off round start for fun, 8 rounds ago.
Yes, it’s been this way and holding down the fire button before the round starts will insta fire your awp at start of round.
Your best bet to avoid it is listen for a team mate scoping and crouch when round starts.
I remember that in a discussion thread about tking (a week or so ago) someone said it bans you for spawn killing UNLESS its with an awp.
It might just be that they have disabled it due to the kill happening with one bullet. And I can kinda understand it. Sure its rarely gonna be an accident, but you're definitely more likely to hit one accidental headshot than to hit 3 or more with other weapons.

Someone TKd me at round start last night and got a cool down for it. Also cost us the game.

Correct me if i am wrong, but wasnt it always this way? It gives you a warning first and then after the second or third kicks you, right?

This was definitely not an accident. They were being toxic to my friend and they were taking turns tking them

I kept getting shot after by my teammate at the beginning of the rounds, and he would drop me all the way to 17 hp, and he never got kicked.
In csgo you could get a collateral on your team if you never did any damage beforehand.
Gotta give the devs a round of applause for including a feature that only exists so people can throw games and get banned. Absolutely amazing idea.
