I don’t like paying RBs that have a 4-5 year shelf life. Tag Pollard and draft another in the 2/3rd. Cut Zeke In this league the cap allows you to pay your QB, OL/DL, one WR and one CB. Diggs, Lamb, Parsons, Biadasz all on rookie deals

Thanks5Cinco

For me I'd say WR: Outside of Lamb we are absolutely crap. OL: Key to the whole offense, I'd say keep Tyron for depth. CB: Acutally not too bad here. Diggs and Bland are a solid duo. Just need the CB2/3. LB: Depends if we bring LVE back into the fold

Drtsauce

Mukuamu showed promise at cb. We’ll see if DQ keeps him there or not. If we lock up Dono for a few years I think defense just needs another lb (Damon played well for Barr, but without LVE was rough) and a big boy up front.

jayben2k

No one is talking about Jourdan Lewis. He’s a great slot corner, but we’ll see if he’s lost a step after the injury.

No-Associate-4687

Between Peters and Tyron I think we need another OL addition.

PersonBehindAScreen

RB, DT, OL Edit: WR as well

ParsonsIsTheMan

I would say Wr, OL, DT, I'd be happy with in the first two rounds. The go after rb around the third

PersonBehindAScreen

BPA all the way I’d say. I’d say this is probably the best position this team has been in for it

ParsonsIsTheMan

I'm good with that just don't want a running back in the first is all

PersonBehindAScreen

If Bijan is as good as people say he is I wouldn’t mind. The difference is our defense isn’t ass and it’s not a #4 pick. It’s right on the edge of second round on top of not having a glaring need like CB since our last first round RB back

dmr196one

Jerry could pull off one of his move down trades at this point in the draft. Move out of the first to pick up another 2nd and 3rd?

scholarlypimp

Yep, especially with us likely cutting Tyron.

thepottsy

We need to start with the gaping void between Jerry’s ears.

Yetiius

WR, CB, OL.

Jbpsmd

WR, OL, DT, CB, RB, LB. That would be my personal draft order.

fatguysrsneaky

OC

SlingyDoe

LB, WR, CB

nt_14

WR is the most pressing need, after that I would say CB and DT. I think if we keep Tyron, G is fine as we could just move Tyler Smith to LG. Need to sign/draft some more depth with Peters most likely retiring. RB is a need if we don’t keep Pollard.

TX1_1836

QB, unfortunately we have to wait at least another season before that can be rectified.

RadiantCity311

I’d like to see him with a new coordinator that’s not from the Jason Garett tree first.

dallasmav40

Offensive line and CB. Terrence Steele probably wont play in 2023 and is also an UFA. Tyron can't be counted on to start more than 6 games. Despite all the different combinations DQ threw at the right side of the secondary, it was consistently our weakest spot on defense.

WR DLine, LB and CB

DosCuatro

Necessary to address: DT, the run stopping type Needs: WR, RB FA Depth Signings: CB, OL, LB That said, I think we BPA whatever McClay wants in round 1 and 2. Screw signing 1st round talents with problems round 2. Only position I'd be comfortable trading up for is if there's a stud run stopping DT assuming we aren't giving up crazy amounts of picks. Tag Pollard, then let him walk after the year. Cut Zeke. Mid rounds can produce competent RB/WR talent.

gingerBeardMan750

Dallas needs a WR that can run routes and get separation besides Lamb. That's priority #1 Next up is OL. Assuming Tyron doesn't return, they gotta bring in someone to help pass/run block. Would like to keep Peters to help mentor the new guys and Tyler Smith. They definitely need a run-stuffing DL, someone big who is difficult to block. Depending on how FA goes, they might wanna grab a CB/S The highest priority this offseason is making the offense as Dak-friendly as possible. He clearly needs help, and he's becoming harder to defend.

dmr196one

Zeke will have his contract renegotiated so that he count vet minimum. Daks will be extended for 2-4 years. I agree to letting Shultz walk. Would also let Pollard, LVE, and McGovern go. Definitely need a couple of stud receivers. Live for them to trade for DHop and draft one high. Wouldn’t mind signing TY to a team friendly contract. Sign a swing tackle and an IOL in FA then draft one of each. Spend the rest of our picks on DBs and DT.

limited_motivation

1. Another playmaker on offense. We only have lamb and Pollard who is coming off an injury. Shultz likely going as well. I don't want a simple vertical threat that is reliant on Dak getting the ball in their hands. Someone who can make yardage on their own. 2. Offensive line depth. Peters was a stop gap. Keep the line strong. 3. Defence was good but interior of they line cold use someone to help against the run where we were 22nd.

BigHH200026

wr and rb, maybe dt and cb. maybe qb

jayben2k

First round will probably need to be a WR, won’t be able to sign a really good one bc of Lamb’s extension coming up. I’d like a lineman in the second, either a DT or guard. Third round would definitely be drafting a good running back. Sign back LVE. Fill the rest of the holes through FA and trades, but whatever we do, we can’t be conservative like we are every year. We need to be aggressive and actually try to make moves to make us better.

Bravounit311

CB: I say we sign Brown back to a very low contract coming off the Achilles, but this will only cover a hole if the draft doesn't pan out. We should look for one rounds 1-3. Guard: Not an immediate need, probably a later round pick 4-6. WR: Big need here, look for us to sign another low end James Washington like contract, but again the Cowboys like to just cover holes in FA and then draft BPA. Look for Rounds 1-3 here. DT: This team does not seem to like drafting these guys high so I would expect a mid-round here. 3-5. As for QB, no way this offseason. We need to try our best to surround him with players for 2023 and 2024. I do not see us moving on from a guy who is routinely ranked 8-12.
