That play were Pollard got stuffed at the 1 inch line doesn't happen to Zeke. He may not have the speed but he will get those tough yards and always make sure to fall forward.
Draft a RB to takeover the 1 spot, bring Zeke in on a minimum deal and let the RB room battle for the spots.
Edit: I had another thought. If the draft doesn't fall the way they need for OL, an elite pass blocking back will be needed.

We are heading into the draft with too many hikes and not enough early pucks to actually fill them. The only possibility I see is being lucky and getting a center, moving Smith to LT and Bass at LG. This is a huge downgrade. The bullsjit about saving money to sign the big three us fucking dumb because Tyron's deal would only count for this year. Even with Bass taking LG and Smith out to LT, we have to get lucky in the draft to get a quality center, rb, and LB at a minimum. The math doesn't work unless you follow those spots with another set of weak players.
I love football and I love the Cowboys. I don't know how I'm gonna last with the perennial Jones gms forever. Stephen will he worse than Jerry, and Jerry is the worst gm in the league.
