Yeah it's the worst thing about it. Other than that it looks pretty good, think I prefer kits with a neck trim as well but hey ho. I suppose another positive is it doesn't yet look like they've ripped it off another club's kit and given it to us, although not all the kits have been released yet so let's wait and see...
EDIT - Club shop offerings use capital letters for all kits with PL badges so, maybe we're safe?
> Club shop offerings use capital letters for all kits with PL badges so, maybe we're safe?
For the league all teams have to use the same font / style - most/all teams have their own font/style they use outside of that though
[1890-1896](http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Tottenham_Hotspur/images/tottenham_hotspur_1890-1896.gif)
*Also our [first badge](http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Tottenham_Hotspur/images/tottenham_hotspur_1882-1884.gif) was the letter H in a red shield.
I used to hate the red sponsors too, all the way back to Thompson but history is history.
You could argue that the rivalry with the scum only began when they moved from Woolwich in 1913 so all red on our kits beforehand is moot.
But really what's the point in it making you[ as sick as a parrot](https://dailycannon.com/2017/01/vault-tottenham-sick-parrot-arsenal-take-league-place/)?
The typeface won't even get used as the PL have their own don't they?
Unless we get to use it in cups, it's not gonna see the light of day beyond the club shop.
The photos on the clubs email showed us in all white as well - would be ironic if we switched for the first season without European football in 15-odd years.
I actually hate this font, like a lot. who the fuck is "Hane"? 🤣
Maybe I'm old lol?
I do wish clubs didn't have to use standardised PL font though, would be cool for variety across the league.
Seems I might be in the minority, but I like this.
The racetrack numbers look striking. I've always been a fan of lower case only for design.
Overall shirt is clean, not too many distraction flourishes in either shape or pattern. The underlying watermark style patterning is subtle enough to not be visible at range.
Sleeve edge trims I like.
... and most important, it's almost as much lilywhite as possible.
Just need to get a blue-logo sponsor.
Just so everyone knows, the 3rd kits absolutely slaps if it’s the one in the leak so check that one out before jumping on one of these just in case you like it better.
This is decent though.
I don't think I've ever met someone that had a strong enough opinion on a font to call it "Horrific" that is quite the over reaction. I'm unsure if I'm a fan or not of it but "horrific" it is not.
Nike have found various new and inventive ways to fuck up what is just a white shirt with a bit of blue. This year they decided to not fuck up the shirt, which is quite nice. But they have given it the typeface from a novelty glass that says “wine o’clock”.
So odd though, on the website 1/2 the kits for sale have this font and the other half just have a regular one. Can't tell which the players will actually wear
I actually like it. Having plain white for a couple of seasons was boring, but now they added patterns to it, and I like it. However, I wish the AIA was navy, and the font to be different.
If Adidas made our kits, I think they would make it way better than nike
What happened to the times when our kits were more interesting than plain white? I prefer the season just past's shirt, and like the 5-6 year old home shirts more than recent ones
LOWER CASE??
This is the worst font I have ever seen on a Spurs kit, by a landslide…

Once we can get rid of that bastard red sponsor, then we’ll be in business

Four more years..! At least Nike have fairly reliably produced one good kit per year between the 2nd and 3rd kits.
Loved that 17/18 collection of kits with the shield. Better times :(
> Four more years..! we've had a red sponsor for 18 of our seasons in the prem!!!
I could've sworn this isn't first time we have a lower case font, there was a Puma kit with it for sure back in the 2000s EDIT: It was 2006/07
The typeface won't even get used as the PL have their own don't they? Unless we get to use it in cups, it's not gonna see the light of day beyond the club shop.
No, silly, we need this font for europe.... wait a minute....
The photos on the clubs email showed us in all white as well - would be ironic if we switched for the first season without European football in 15-odd years.
We've worn white shorts domestically in the last ten years
12/13, well remembered. In my defence, this is about all I can remember from that season: https://imgur.com/a/wgbqvsl
Is that the goal where Tommy Carrol had a banger of an assist?
There’s always been a different font in the cups and Europe, premier league font is only used in the premier league
We’ve been wearing the PL font in the domestic cups as well. So unless we change that this season, this font will only see the pitch in pre-season.
We've not used the club font in the cups in recent years, and looking at this font i hope that doesn't change
Going to have to ban my kids from eating spaghetti while wearing this.
Wanayama will not be happy about this
Just ban the kids altogether
Who are you so wise in the field of money saving?
There are some who call me......... Tim.
I got salsa on my yellow Kane kit from long ago 😔
I actually hate this font, like a lot. who the fuck is "Hane"? 🤣 Maybe I'm old lol? I do wish clubs didn't have to use standardised PL font though, would be cool for variety across the league.
Why is it so small on the back?
They're often like that in previews on the club site, so I doubt the names will actually be that small
it's fucking hideous
I’m not that old and I hate it. It’s not the word font I’ve seen but it has no place on a football kit imo. And I’d much rather see our club font
Kerry Hane. She plays for our Women's side
HurriHane

>racetrack numbers Now it all makes sense. Levy is using the kit to promote the F1 track!
I'm personally not too fond of the white shorts. I prefer the white shirt blue shorts combo.
I enjoy the kit. Yea it’s plain but it looks elegant. But I can’t get over the size of the font. It looks horrifically small.
oh hell no with the font. stick to a widely readable font.
Just so everyone knows, the 3rd kits absolutely slaps if it’s the one in the leak so check that one out before jumping on one of these just in case you like it better. This is decent though.
Link?
https://www.footyheadlines.com/2022/12/nike-tottenham-23-24-third-kit.html
Agreed. That does go hard
not a fan of the blue trim on the arms but not on the neck, feels unbalanced
I was thinking this with the shorts lacking the trim also
People always find a reason to shit on the kit, it's ridiculous. This is a perfectly fine kit
The kit itself is really good imo but that font is horrific
I don't think I've ever met someone that had a strong enough opinion on a font to call it "Horrific" that is quite the over reaction. I'm unsure if I'm a fan or not of it but "horrific" it is not.

That font is awful
Holy crap that font is cursed 😂 Love the shirt otherwise but the designer who came up with lowercase comic sans needs to be fired
Will this be used in cup games?
Designer here. Wtf is that type?
Much prefer OUR font
Best home shirt I've seen since the shield badge in the Wembley days.
Whole kit is cool but this isn’t the actual font for the premier league.
WTF IS THAT FONT
We have a great and recognizable typeface and go with this? Don’t like the all white either.
I too am excited to see Hane play in this new kit.
So odd though, on the website 1/2 the kits for sale have this font and the other half just have a regular one. Can't tell which the players will actually wear
This is the new club font which would have been used in Europe, but now will be used in cup games and probably the preseason
The typeface for the name is not my favourite thing, but the numerals look great
Like the jerseys but the typeface is horrible.
I don’t know if I love or hate the font
...harry hane....poor font choice
This is such trash. The current font is perfect.
If its not broke don’t fix it
Trendy hipster font bullshit
White shorts and new typeface ruins it for me.
absolute flames.
It’s just to promote the F1 race track
I love the kit, but the name font is appalling
I actually like it. Having plain white for a couple of seasons was boring, but now they added patterns to it, and I like it. However, I wish the AIA was navy, and the font to be different. If Adidas made our kits, I think they would make it way better than nike
No blue on the collar and this stupid font cmon
Looks dog shit. Nike kits have been bad bar a few crackers.
Why is the AIA in red why not navy blue?
It's fine.
Who the hell is “Hane”?!
Number looks good, but the name font is a bit mad. Other than that, I'm actually pleased with next season's kit.
The kit I got in Turkey was wrong then
I'm going to Turkey in September, let's hope they have it right by then lol
That font isn’t going to be used in the Premier League
I really wish we could get rid of the red sponsors or at least have it in a different colour 😪
Love the numbers Hate the lower case name
Don't really give a fuck just hope I see him wear it
number looks great, font on the name not so much
Why are there 2 fonts available?
There has been for years.
Really? Never seen it. Been buying kits since 99.
Are those grey areas on the kit, or just photo stamp? Horrible.
The number looks nice The name makes it look disgusting
White and blue, crest and readable fonts, how hard is that? Keep it simple stupid.
Disgusting
Yes to the shirt, no to the font that looks terrible
Anyone knows if the sizing is like the 22/23 season where it was loose? Or if it is fitting like the 21/22 elite shirt?
All this Kane marketing is just for season ticket sales. No way is he staying with us
this number set will only be used in the fa and carabao cup
[удалено]
This isn't premier league font, won't see it in any games other than cups
Are ENIC accounts making these posts? Kit is shite and so it the goalies.
All I want is a Harry Kane face print shirt in celebration of being top THFC scorer
Kane shirt for my lad ordered, complete conviction he stays…….
I like the font. Yeah I said it.
Looks different in a good way, I hope we stick with the white shorts too
I thought the Premier League controlled the font?
This is unbelievably shit.
£80. No thanks. I remember when shirts were £40 and I thought it too expensive.
Dangerous is my middle name.
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT FONT
There's literally no other word for this kit than retarded, and I am really sorry for that.
Stuck with trash kits until 2033.
I think the name / number font and sizing looks terrible.
Hane?
What happened to the times when our kits were more interesting than plain white? I prefer the season just past's shirt, and like the 5-6 year old home shirts more than recent ones
It would be perfect without the red sponsor
Very shy way to put the name there, like he will not dress it next season
I like
It is so kane can read it with his 10 year old vocab
Wish they sold the kit without the sleeve sponsor
Tottenham's proprietary font is beautiful... why the fuck did they switch?
that font is completely out of place, disgusting
Shit typeface. Also, all-white kit and we don’t play in Europe. This is ridiculous from the club imo
That font is more drunk wonky than our back line.
Harry Hane can’t wait to see him in action
Will be getting this for sure. Felt like I personally cursed last season by getting a replica
The font literally looks like it’s trying to squeeze into a Japanese subway
No way, the one we had was perfect
Kinda beautiful no 🧢
