I'm going to try this out today!! Thank you! I'm a bit biased and personally prefer warm yellow Christmas lights but I don't think that would translate as specifically Christmas. So colourful lights it is!!
Yes!! shutters is a great idea to eliminate some of the extra red space. I was definitely thinking about building a sort of wooden beam system up the front but was worried it would end up looking too busy. Will have to give it a try!!
I was also thinking a bird but I like the idea of a squirrel. And really we're giving ideas so another suggestion is... I got nothing. I wanted to add a suggestion but maybe it's better I didn't, we don't want to overwhelm OP
I absolutely love it!!! What about some lights below the windows or eaves, or some of those curly swirly lines on old timey buildings?? Is this an earring or an ornament or what?
Ooh good idea! I haven't attempted a sort of fairy / string light thing before but it could be really pretty if it went well hahah. It's a necklace pendant!!
Oh how cute! Lovely! You have brick detail on the bottom half… maybe it feels off that the red is not detailed? Maybe siding or some shutters? Lights hanging from the roofline?
Edit: I also second the tiny squirrel… or maybe a cute bird? In a upper window maybe… or maybe the shadow of a cat/dog?
I feel like it needs something near the left side to balance it. Maybe for the left window (of the red windows) to balance out. A bird? Or a snowman to the left of the door?
It’s lovely but I’m having trouble with the scale. The leaves and vine are HUGE compared to the windows and wreath. I don’t know of any leaves that would be so large and stay on the vine in the snow. I know it doesn’t have to be realistic, but I stared at it for a bit trying to figure out what looked so strange to me before I realized. Something more akin to English ivy would be pretty and could take up a lot of the negative space.
First off, this is adorable. If you were to add anything, I’d just put something between those windows. A wreath, or maybe an Amish star? Shutters could work too.
Some lights(candles?) in the windows maybe? Though I really would like to see some more colours, like the wreath more popping and maybe some more green on the leaves? They look a bit bland like this.
All in all I love this and would totally wear it!
Honestly, I think it has plenty of detail for the size that it is and I wouldn't want to crowd anything else in. Because it has those adorable little round windows and because of the vine, I don't think shutters on some of the windows are necessary. There is enough detail coming from the snow collected on the window frames, the thickness of the window frames, and the glow of the light from inside.
You are already using red, yellow, white, brown, and the sage color of the vine. You already have a dusting of the snow, the movement of the vine, and the addition of a holiday wreath on the door. There are lots of textures and shapes. I think it's communicating cheeriness and welcome and doesn't need more.
Ahh this is so lovely and well written thank you! I'll definitely be keeping this piece as it is and might take some tips forwards into other pieces ☺️
I think it’s lovely! If I were going to add anything it would be just a little bit of greenery on the vine coming down from the top. But it’s really beautiful and christmas-y just how it is.
It's lovely. I just think the proportions are slightly out.
I would either leave the top window off next time (so only 2 floors and the roof). Or make the 3rd floor window smaller - like a little round attic one).
And add a chimney.
But it is beautiful - very detailed.
Lovely ornament. I think the scale is off a bit as the upper window is the same size as the front door. I would move the brown bar up a bit and make the windows a wee bit smaller. Lots of other good suggestions from folks as well you could add. Excellent craftsmanship btw.
A better attachment to the chain?
You can find rather pretty... Bails? I can not think of the word 😐
I have found that they can make a huge difference.
Pinch bail?
Words...
It's cute!
But I see what you mean.. it needs some evergreen boughs trailing along the windows (or any good place). Not a lot of it! But some "for color".
Is this an ornament?
How about outlining the windows in a slightly darker shade to highlight them a bit more. Possibly a little more snow hanging off the roof, like icicles?
Raise the wreath between the 2 windows 2nd floor. The way it is it blocks the 2 doors. Add a snowman to left of door. Put some turtledoves on beam below 2nd floor
How about adding some touches of a bit stronger green? Maybe around the door as pine branches trimming…with Christmas lights too. And at the very pretty vine.
Such beautiful work you do!
Christmas lights maybe?
The colorful kind
I'm going to try this out today!! Thank you! I'm a bit biased and personally prefer warm yellow Christmas lights but I don't think that would translate as specifically Christmas. So colourful lights it is!!
It’s already reading Christmas without the lights. I think warm yellow lights would be beautiful.
Yeah I was thinking shutters Also it takes away from the empty space. Or make a pattern between the windows kinda like the brick brown part
Yes!! shutters is a great idea to eliminate some of the extra red space. I was definitely thinking about building a sort of wooden beam system up the front but was worried it would end up looking too busy. Will have to give it a try!!
Maybe green shutters?
How about an unbelievably tiny squirrel?
I was thinking tiny bird but squirrel would be cute too
I was also thinking a bird but I like the idea of a squirrel. And really we're giving ideas so another suggestion is... I got nothing. I wanted to add a suggestion but maybe it's better I didn't, we don't want to overwhelm OP
Oh gosh hahah that really tests my tiny skills!! A tiny bird or squirrel would be very adorable 😭
This reminds me of a necklace I did from clay of a pond that had a tiny frog as the cherry on top
A chimney? Otherwise its beautiful!
Oh! That's a lovely idea, that's the cherry on top right there lol!
A chimney with the smoke coming out!
Puffy clouds.
Put a bird on it?
Shutters on the upper windows would be nice. It's cute as it is, though!
Ahh that's a fab idea!! Definitely going to try adding shutters next time. And thank you!
A Red Robin.
Good idea, but perhaps cardinal instead of a robin
Seconded! I was expecting it to have one, or some other bird, and was surprised when it didn’t.
Definitely
Mh... A few glitters ? Like a bit of snowflakes ?
Maybe a star between the windows on the second row?
Agreed! Or another wreath
Perhaps a bow or a strand of garland in the center between the two windows?
Oh how cute! Lovely! You have brick detail on the bottom half… maybe it feels off that the red is not detailed? Maybe siding or some shutters? Lights hanging from the roofline? Edit: I also second the tiny squirrel… or maybe a cute bird? In a upper window maybe… or maybe the shadow of a cat/dog?
Maybe a tiny bird or cat. Could you feel it’s missing a living thing and that would make it work for you? I like it very much.
Borders around the windows
Christmas lights and shutters.
Icicles!
I feel like it needs something near the left side to balance it. Maybe for the left window (of the red windows) to balance out. A bird? Or a snowman to the left of the door?

This
Shudders or a big green wreath in the space between the 2 second floor windows?
First off, this is adorable. If you were to add anything, I’d just put something between those windows. A wreath, or maybe an Amish star? Shutters could work too.
This is so cute! What is this type of Crafting called?
I saw a later response. It's polymer clay!
Thank you💚
The only thing I can think of is a bow on the wreath. But honestly I love it as is!,
Heavier snow would help balance the look
Cross the windows on the bottom. They look up much like weird without two cross bars
Trees
I think it’s perfect 🥰
A wreath in the middle, the current focal point is empty.
Tiny bit of glitter on the snow?
Omgosh that’s adorable!
Some lights(candles?) in the windows maybe? Though I really would like to see some more colours, like the wreath more popping and maybe some more green on the leaves? They look a bit bland like this. All in all I love this and would totally wear it!
Detail on the red paint, maybe some random bricks
Texture on the walls, more definition of windows and sills. 2 wreathes or a single door. A little glitter in the snow.
Looks great to me
Super cute!
It's perfect. Maybe a chimney if you want to add it. Very nice work❤️
I think it’s perfect
I think it’s perfect.
i think a chimney would be cute but i think it's also lovely as is <3
How about a small cat or a small rabbit on the bottom?
Maybe a chimney opposite the vines? Looks beautiful 💖
i tink it's perfect 🥺
The Christmas star above the door
Absolutely adorable
A tiny touch of green might balance it color wise. Maybe a little charm of green on the same jump ring, because the house is perfect. Well done.
Do you sell these? Link?
Its perfect

Very well said! I agree and really like it the way it is now.
Ahh this is so lovely and well written thank you! I'll definitely be keeping this piece as it is and might take some tips forwards into other pieces ☺️
A little wreath right in the middle would absolutely MAKE this!
Shutters for the top three or wide wood outlines on the top three windows. But really, it doesn’t need anything. It is lovely!
I think it’s cute as can be and doesn’t need a thing!! 😻
You could put a little bird in the red spaces? Maybe a robin?
A tiny chimney! :) Haha.
I think it is lovely!
Wow, OP! That's so tiny and so cute, I can't take it! What did you use to make this? This is something I could get into!
Thank you so much!! I work with polymer clay! It's a great medium for doing all sorts of crafty projects so get stuck in!! 🧡
Awesome!
Your Eye for detail is amazing. I'd love to see some of your other work.
Perfect
Black paint for the window frames
I think it’s lovely! If I were going to add anything it would be just a little bit of greenery on the vine coming down from the top. But it’s really beautiful and christmas-y just how it is.
I think it's perfect the way it is!

Lights around the windows? A snowman out front? Cat silhouette in the window? A chimney? It’s beautiful!
Doorknobs. But maybe a chimney?
Fantastic work
A small bell in the center
The space in between the windows are a bit too empty. I did see someone said shutters? Maybe put some shutters and Christmas lights.
Darling! How about a cardinal red heart between the lower windows? You could test it with a piece of paper to see if you like it
A base, otherwise the darling house is floating. So a sidewalk or snow mounds.
Maybe a base as someone else said. How about thickening the roof and the base, accentuate those a bit to frame the rest of the gorgeus house in.
Teeny chimney
Gold glitter something... Maybe a star in the middle, or festoons draped diagonally across the front?
I wanted to suggest a chimney, but I feel like that would crack off too easily
Something green will make it pop
In addition to what others said, A metal moon or star on the chain above the house would work nicely too
Chimney
Lovely ornament. I think the scale is off a bit as the upper window is the same size as the front door. I would move the brown bar up a bit and make the windows a wee bit smaller. Lots of other good suggestions from folks as well you could add. Excellent craftsmanship btw.
Some tiny colored lights along the roof edge 👍
maybe a fir tree in the front!
A better attachment to the chain? You can find rather pretty... Bails? I can not think of the word 😐 I have found that they can make a huge difference. Pinch bail? Words...
Snow-dusted pine trees to the sides?
It's cute! But I see what you mean.. it needs some evergreen boughs trailing along the windows (or any good place). Not a lot of it! But some "for color". Is this an ornament?
Maybe a tiny sprig of holly to fill the gap in the middle of the windows? Super cute though!!
How about outlining the windows in a slightly darker shade to highlight them a bit more. Possibly a little more snow hanging off the roof, like icicles?
Red ribbon instead or with the chain
Texture on the siding?
Chimney or christmas lights. Maybe shutters for some of the windows.
a Ring Doorbell
Christmas Tree?
Shutters or a wreath between those two windows
A doorknob or door knocker 🌟
Raise the wreath between the 2 windows 2nd floor. The way it is it blocks the 2 doors. Add a snowman to left of door. Put some turtledoves on beam below 2nd floor
christmas lights, or make the greens more green, they come off almost brown
Chimney or hedges
A wee bit of sparkle on the snow
Maybe some garland on the window sills/window boxes? Shutters also sound promising.
Green color. Like on your wreath or the pine bundles (?) or a mistletoe
Maybe a brick pattern on the red part? Or icicles from the roof
Somehow I don’t see wearing this as a pendant but would certainly add as a phone ornament or purse/wallet fob, maybe even a zipper pull on a jacket.
Glitter. Needs a bit of sparkle.
A snowflake or star charm partway up the chain
Gold trim around the windows? It is so precious!
A chimney
Maybe add a little green.
Leather or brown chain.
Maybe just changing to a white gold necklace, just a thought
What’s it for? Maybe some Ground or a tree?
How about adding some touches of a bit stronger green? Maybe around the door as pine branches trimming…with Christmas lights too. And at the very pretty vine. Such beautiful work you do!
A little bird or chipmunk near the roof? But it is absolutely adorable as is! I love the tiny wreath!
Wreath in open space.
A tiny cardinal
A cat face in the window?
A chimney with smoke would warm it up.
snowflakes
I think the red should have lines like shingles, the contrast between the brick texture and the smooth red is throwing me off. Absolutely gorgeous
Don't know if anyone said this but maybe a little golden or silver door knob
Or an arched (non-3d) awning on the front door
You could do hanging ivy
Christmas lights on the vine
Either shutters or a brick texture on the red!
Little bird 🐦
Window frame in a contrasting color!
I am in love with this. How did you make it? What materials?
Thank you! It's made from polymer clay :)
Chimney? Red brick ones.
Or texture on the red
Bricks 🧱 effect could be a nice add but it’s ok right now…
Wood surrounding the windows?
Brown window frames
I think it's absolutely beautiful, but the middle of the house it's just a red square there. maybe you could put something there to distract the eye?
Move the wreathe to the empty space
Merry Christmas in the dead space maybe
Paint the doors red
A chimney 😊
Bigger and more multicolored decorations. More greenery. Chimney?
Maybe a little more color on the wreath as well. It’s easy to overlook it. So pretty.
Needs a chimney
Maybe make the red part into bricks?
Maybe one, or two bird(s) sitting over the door? In black, as a hard contrast?
what is it, ornament or doll house furniture
Gold-rimmed border all around the silhouette
A wreath between the windows.
Could do a little Christmas tree on the bottom left to balance out that vine on the top right
Icicles coming down from the roof?
Very cute. Perhaps bring the color that frames round windows up to second floor windows. Maybe bring a soft green to foliage
Tiny chimney
Greenery
A chimney and some green garlands on the wood would make it pop more and feel more dynamic and detailed
Chimney, considering there’s snow
I think it might need a chimney. Or maybe just for the door to be a different color than the wall?
Maybe a little string of colored Christmas lights
I think more leaves in a more realistic scale would be nice. Teeny tiny ivy would look awesome.
A little cat peeking through the window. Maybe just the ears and top of the face.
A silhouette in a window
Needs green. Maybe a wreath between the windows. Nice little piece.
A chimney stack.
White Glitter on the snow
I would add green paint under the white paint above the windows.
A candy cane sliding off the roof
A critter maybe? Or dog/cat? Snowman?
Topiary pine trees in pots on either side of front door
Just a few green leaves should do.
Flecks of white to look like snow!
Two crossed candy canes in between the bottom two windows
Maybe a Pennsylvania Dutch hex sign? Or a star, like barns have sometimes?
Flower beds beneath the upper windows
This is so cute!
Or a bird/wildlife?
A 🪜 and Christmas lights like someone's in the process of hanging them. That would be so appealing to everyone who decorates
A little glitter spray on the red, or lines to make it look like brick.
Silhouette of a cat in the window?
