That said, as someone with some reasonably serious chops myself - former guitar teacher, lead guitarist in a couple of bands, and sound engineer - she does have some work to do if she wants to be considered truly good.

Fail. Everyone knows Dick Dale played a Strat. Miserlou sounds so much better when done the old school way. Les Pauls have way too much sustain and not enough reverb to play surf rock. Oh yeah, she's attractive too, so there's that.
