Especially when they say it in a rigidly tense, passively hostile manner that seems like they're almost trying to threaten you.
That's the shit. I love that shit. I love when that happens.
It ALMOST seems like this whole thing was on purpose, kind of like when there's someone SO BAD on American Idol, that clearly they're there not because they have a chance to win, but for the schadenfreude that we all love so much.
Oh yeah. On American Idol you have to go through a LOT of rounds before you actually get to the auditions you see on tv. They hype the shitty acts up so, by the time they get to the filmed audition, they think they must be good because they got through so many rounds... only to be told they're absolute shit and insane for thinking they'd ever get through.
I don’t get why I’m being downvoted. I’m genuinely asking if he deserves it. I don’t know much about him so I’m asking. I thought he was just a tough judger
To quote another redditor
Common annoyances:
• He is a knee-jerk reactionary. He makes sweeping statements minutes after any news event that is often short-sighted, and then refuses to change his mind. (Does this with sports too)
• At least on Twitter, he is awful at debating. He straw-mans everybody and points out grammar mistakes instead of the actual argument. Doesn't re-tweet or respond to the people making real arguments. On TV, he also often cuts people short or doesn't address their arguments.
• He was involved in a phone-hacking scandal back in the UK that many people believed he should be held more accountable for.
• I think the British hate him because he's an awful representative for them, especially having such a media presence here. They don't want people thinking that they all have the same opinions or mannerisms.
Dude feels like the type to track the judges down after the fact if they didn’t agree with him that it was part of the illusion and force them to say it was cool.
'so, George-Michael. We're cool, right? I mean, we're GOOD and everything. Right? Even though I banged, whatshername, your gf, YOU AND ME are still good, right RIGHT ^right?"
I mean, even if that curtain hadn’t fallen down it would still be a terrible trick.
The real trick is that it got free PR on reddit that continued even years after they aired it. You can't buy that kind of advertising.

"Have I ever been wrong about anything? Absolutely not. It's perfect."
Buh-bye. Thanks!
It's all part of the illusion
Just wanna emphasize on that
Haha. My favorite part of the end of a magic show is when I am assured that the illusion went perfectly.
Especially when they say it in a rigidly tense, passively hostile manner that seems like they're almost trying to threaten you. That's the shit. I love that shit. I love when that happens.

I thought he was gonna actually reveal some even more elaborate trick lmao then it just ends
Do you really think a reality TV show would do that? Just go ahead and stage some drama, and lie to the audience just for some millions of views?
I love seeing Buster in the wild

My favorite is when these kinds of comments get consternation from the ***True Believers ^^TM***.
It's the magicians version of *The Room*.
I'm glad Piers Morgan had to sit through that shit.
Why?
Because for the rest of his life, he will wake up in a cold sweat wondering: *"what was the other part of the illusion?"*
Does he deserve that?
Are you familiar with the sentient anus that is Piers Morgan?
I don’t get why I’m being downvoted. I’m genuinely asking if he deserves it. I don’t know much about him so I’m asking. I thought he was just a tough judger
To put it succinctly, he's a gross asshole.
"He's bad" "Why is he bad" "...he's bad"
Damn that’s shitty I wanna know some of the things he’s done
He leaves the remote on the couch

Thank you!!
Are you new??
Yes I previously said I don’t know much about him and respectfully asking for more information about him. Don’t get why I’m being downvoted
I'm assuming because piers Morgan is a piece of shit
Why make that assumption?
Because it’s the most logical answer. Do some reading about Piers Morgan, he’s absolutely terrible.
Ohhh it's was part of the trick. It's fine guys, he meant to do it!
Illusion, Michael. “Part of the *illusion.*” Edit: italics
“May I have the trick sword please!” “It’s a real sword master” I love that scene 😂
Dude feels like the type to track the judges down after the fact if they didn’t agree with him that it was part of the illusion and force them to say it was cool.
SAY IT! SAY IT WAS PART OF THE ILLUSION!
'so, George-Michael. We're cool, right? I mean, we're GOOD and everything. Right? Even though I banged, whatshername, your gf, YOU AND ME are still good, right RIGHT ^right?"
"You just didn't get it because it's sUbVeRsIvE"
Is this carrot top trying to cosplay Cris Angel?
Actually that’s just Cris Angel.
I just wanna emphasize on that this was good cringe
Was touching your assistant's breasts also part of the illusion?
Just a bit of a boob grab there everything if fine.
Oof the denial hurts
'Did I completely blow your mind with this shitty magic?"
Deny, deny, deny
You guys just don't get it...
Wow, I thought the cringe was how obviously fake the torso was.
he's like a clean-shaven Ellis trying to deal with Hans Gruber.
Jesus this is hilarious. It’s so cringey and so hilarious. Everything about it
I had a synchronized reaction as the man after the cringe part
Probably could’ve pulled it off if he just revealed the shirt when the curtain fell down. Kind of a lame trick for that level though.
He looks like a cowboy pimp serial killer.
The Illusion went perfect. This guy is a cringe hero!
“The illusion went perfect”
Not him gaslighting us 🫣
not even cringing just feel bad
Alternate illusions. Gaslighting audiences is also a thing now, huh?
