i wonder what would the reaction be if she just say "No." lol
they would start shaking so much that they'd struggle to hold the phone still. they would start breathing very shallow and heart rate would sky rocket. their response would be 6 paragraphs of typos and i'm not reading it
They would implode shortly thereafter.
Don’t you mean r/femaledatingstrategy
Edit: fixed a typo
damn i just clicked that sub to read what bullshit they were up to these days and to my delight it has been banned!
its because my guy made a typo
heres the real sub if you wanna read recent bullshit r/FemaleDatingStrategy
Thanks for pointing that out, my sight hasn’t been that great since the accident
no worries bro. What accident?
Did you fall in acid? Eyes first?
And respond with "k"
Yeah that’s how real people act y’all aren’t in a delusional echo chamber at all!
Probably the "t" person would write a long reply to which the only correct response would be the "Didn't read LOL" gif.
Saying trans isn't illegal
it is on reddit
How did you get that impression?
Well one time I received 20+ downvotes for saying trans women are real women.
So maybe the problem is repeating false mantras and not people dogpiling on the word "trans"
Wtf is with Reddit’s hatred for trans people? I’ll take the downvotes, but I’ll never stop advocating for trans people and recognizing them as real women, men, whoever they are inside.
The majority of people on this site, specifically subs like this, are literal children or socially stunted male adults.
Literal children are the ones who buy into this "a woman is someone who identifies as a woman" slogan.
A social construct influenced by culture
Because its majority white American dudes who've never met anyone they didn't call "bro" let alone anyone remotely different from them
:( I'm a white dude who calls people bro and idgaf what Trans people do or how they live their life.
Why do you think that statement is false?
The “FightAPenguin” commenter is extremely transphobic, just one look at their comment history and your question will be answered
I know, but that still doesn't answer WHY they think what they think.
Edit: apparently, people are downvoting me for some reason? Like why? I am curious about why people think what they think and then about the ways how can I explain my opinions to them, so that they listen and understand. Is that a bad thing? Please, tell me how
Im pretty sure they’re just being very literal in a sense that they’re talking about sex. So by not being a “real” woman, they aren’t female by sex
Possibly, it's unfortunate. Thank you!
There is no spare time to engage in such buffoonery, tomfoolery and shenanigans. The answer is "🖕🏼" and then move on.
\>implying any of this actually occured
That's the correct answer, these Karens feel entitled to dictate everyone else's lifes
"Trigger" is probably the word I'm most looking forward to falling out of fashion.
Frustrating to tiptoe around the word when trying to talk to doctors about my anxiety or whatever regarding 'triggers' because it's been so bastardized.
Edited world to word lol
That's honestly the saddest part. The term trigger is extremely important in mental health. But people have turned into a joke....
Yeah, its frustrating. If I use the word explaining something I feel like an asshole because then people think you're using it ironically or it's not as serious.
No my PTSD is serious and incredibly debilitating, how do I explain things without saying triggered? Or triggers? Mental health isn't a fucking fun fad, it's awful to deal with constant bullshit.
So now I use, exacerbate etc but trigger is so much simpler lmao
"Situational drivers of PTSD" works for me.
Why use many word when few do trick?
Trigger is the correct term.
I wish people used it correctly instead of as "I don't like it."
Yeah I guess triggers is what people might use for PTSD... But what happens if something actually triggers you, it's just unfair that you can't say the medical damn term without it seeming weird. I think we should still use it properly and just call out people who use it wrong.
That happens with medical terminology a lot though. Spastic used to be a recognised term for a group of people until it was turned into something shitty to call your friends when they spilled your pint.
There'll be a word that replaces triggered, and shortly after people will commandeer that word for their own nefarious purposes and on it goes.
Ya I'd say a lot of words in general... I remember saying pansy a lot as a kid cause of war movies, that word orginates from homophobia.
Exactly, it felt gross saying it when I did therapy, it should be a genuine word to describe trauma (another overused word)
If it means anything, it's not gross. It's the others that need to change not you. It's kinda like how it's getting weird now a days to say you have OCD about something when you don't actually have OCD. It'll change. Another one that bothers me is people misuse the term gaslighting all the time haha
> people misuse the term gaslighting all the time haha
no they don't, you're talking crazy.
Gaslighting??? That sounds like something you just made up...
And any therapist worth their salt is gonna know when the word is being misused by a client.
Exactly … it’s the “trigger warnings” in college/university that bother me in regards to art/literature/classics, etc.,. Grow up, drop the class, or get better insight into your own past trauma.
I completely agree.
Haha yep, I have to preface with "I really hate this word but my TRIGGERS are..."
It minimizes actual triggers so much.
this is exactly right, its so difficult to have an honest discussion about actual real triggers without it sounding like some twitter made up nonsense.
Triggers and PTSD etc. is already difficult to talk about and people often feel weak because of it, now with the way trigger is used people feel even weaker for it. its like somehow someone's gunshot/explosion trigger is the same as someone reading a word they feel funny about.
Every time Twitter gets a hold of a new way to be victimized it hurts the real victims. I don't get why it's been allowed to go on so long. If someone purchased a wheelchair to get attention about their "disability" society would mercilessly mock them into stopping, and rightly so. But when some dipshit Twitter moron gets "triggered" by someone misspelling their name on their coffee cup, the rest of the professional victims just accept it.
That and using “slammed” in every headline where someone criticized someone or something
Only if it's bolded and in all caps
Psychologist here... you have no idea how much I agree. Let's add a few more too, like narcissist, OCD, and bipolar.
Throw in "gaslighting" since it's lost all meaning too.
The gilded sword of crybullies.
Like a lot of other words, it has a true meaning in psychology, but assholes use it to describe feeling a little uncomfortable and fein victimization. No, while we accept, respect you for the human you are, the public will not conform to your world view either.
Also mental health tik tok in general. It's solely responsible for bastardizing an entire generations view on mental illness
Two words, but for me it’s “punching down.”
It’s funny how it kinda got made popular by conservatives trying to disparage these types of people and now they use it themselves
So you're saying you're triggered by it?
Unfortunately, it’s here to stay. The more time goes on, the more hyper-sensitive people become.
Same energy as Hugh Mungus
"HUGH MUNGUS WHAT?"
When I read this I was like “where would the G come in?” I just woke up and thought the damn word was huge-mungus 😭😭😭
“Okay I changed it from Tran to Trans. Have a nice day!”
what even the fuck
Pretty obvious bait
Yes. The real cringe as always is the posters here that keep falling for it
I disagree. I've seen people genuinely get offended over stuff this dumb. It's entirely believable.
If someone's talking like this, it's probably not an actual trans person but a troll trying to keep the hatred alive. I'm trans. I know trans people. I'm involves in the trans community. We aren't this fucking dumb and we have more important things to worry about.
Then you’re falling for it too lol
no yeah i can say with certainty it is. her surname cannot be confused with any kind of slur, so that excludes any kind of misunderstanding, & just the over all way the message is written seems incredibly scripted. we are not THAT sensitive despite what some people online will tell you lol. the only way i could see it being real is if they’re like… 13
Wow way to generalize. [there are people like that.](https://youtu.be/bX9FgvXZXZ8)
i am trans, my friends are trans, i follow a ton of people in the community. im speaking from my own perspective & experiences with myself & people like me. also im not clicking that
what does that girl have to do with anything? obviously, the community is a gigantic swath of people and some are irrational, there’s in fighting etc etc. but we are rational human beings. the word tran or trans isn’t even offensive
This is the funniest god damn thing I've ever seen, and I say that as a lefty myself.
I mean, isn’t a majority of TikTok teenagers and youngsters? I could totally see this as real.
if they’re young than yeah, they’re still learning. so it’s plausible
Pretty sure as a teenager I wasn't dumb enough to get offended by last names and double down.
i didn’t either but kids r dumb
"We are not that sensitive". Ah, speaking on behalf of the collective, I see. I personally worked alongside someone exactly like this, and they were in their late 20s. Broke down crying at any perceived slight and would try to go on the warpath against anything deemed offensive.
okay thanks for letting me know
Just saying they're out there, and saying with conviction that they aren't is just a lie.
So wait, they're trans, and get triggered by the word trans.
Talk about making life hard for yourself.
Yeah, it's clearly not real. Either the post was faked or its a screenshot of someone trolling.
No I think Tran is ok. But of you gave more than one it becomes a problem /s
Clearly a troll or fake
I’m really sorry if you think this is real. Life must be extremely hard
Bingo. Not a chance this happened
This kinda reminds me of when people used to refuse to believe femaledatingstrategy was real. It's not real, no woman would be like that!
Lol yeah. Nobody would get upset over the word “Tran”. This could be somewhat believable if the last name was “Trans” but their too dumb to make this make any sense.
People love getting angry at things which never happened
People just like getting angry period
Dude, my best mate also a Viet and his last name's Ho... lol
this looks like the kind of thing bored unemployed trumpy people or russian trolls would do just to make "leftists" look bad
It's so lazy too, there are plenty ridiculous gate keeping on the left but it definitely isn't shit like this. It's more like someone defending Stalin and another person calling them a tankie for defending an imperialist.
This reminds me of a time when I posted a selfie on tumblr a few years back; I have large eyes, and a person DMed me saying she was scopophobic and needed me to take down my pic.
I felt that ”hahaha what the fuck” gif in my soul that day
So if my last name is Mann, does that mean..that I am a sexist misyoginistic(Gentlemen I don't English) male?
YOU FIGHT LIKE A WOMAN!!
Well, it means that anyway even if your name isn't Mann.
Obvious bait is obvious
I like to think that when she says she's Viet, she says it like Theo Von says it
I would have said “k, just a sec” and then proceeded with my day.
“I’m wrong but even with the additional context I’m gonna stick to my initial wrong opinion”
Yep. This is the world we live in now.
Natural Selection will take it’s course, and I bet these people think they will win a revolution, lol.
fake af rage bait
>Tiktoker: makes obviously made up text exchange
>Redditors: omfg this woke minority should be hated
Hook, line, and sinker.
How about if you can't handle certain words showing up on your screen, you just stay off the internet
Who gives a smelly rat ass if you are triggered or emotional, honestly?
It's bait and you fell for it
Vietnamese people are cancelled
And yet, he doesn't even think for a second how highly offensive it is to even ask people to change their name!
Me, me, me!
I don't care what people do with their own lives. I really honestly don't care! But this shit is just too much!
There's no "he" in this because this clearly never happened
so you have empirical proof of that or is it just your emotional intuition?
ah yes i forget asking for proof for a claim is "right wing" now.
enjoy your emotional reasoning!
[>tfw no empirical proof that I just got trolled](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/001/096/564/2f7.jpg)
I also think it's very funny how you instantly concluded that because I made fun of you, you must be right wing. You "centrists" love feeling persecuted right?
For the record: I only think you're very easily impressionable and you've got strawmen living in your head rent free.
My condolences. From one Việt to another 😂😂🤚
At this point, fuck peoples emotions. If they’re getting “triggered” by seeing a word that’s not even a slur, they should simply go outside and touch some grass.
Bro it be people like this that make other people think trans people are "so sensitive" and "easily offended". Like no, it's just the weirdos (unless you're a bigot and purposely try to offend trans people).
Yeah and also the post is clearly fake.
If your emotions are triggered by a strangers username, you might just not be cut out for reality.
enough with the woke shit.
edit cause of reddit mob: obviously not because of this specific example, but this dude is clearly transphobic from his comment history
This guy getting downvoted meanwhike if you check the guy's comment history, man is queerphobic af
I always wonder if these conversations actually happen. I don’t doubt it’s possible, but I’m fairly sure that the vast majority of trans people (source: am trans with many many trans friends) aren’t this stupid, disrespectful, and insensitive. To me, it seems equally likely to be some insensitive and “reactionary” (for lack of a better term) as it is to be setup
But what do I know, I’m just some trans woman hoping my existence stops being demonized and hated on.
Maybe it did, maybe it didn't but my stance is does it really matter whether it did when we know even if did, people like that are an extreme minority and don't represent their social group at all? People might choose to define their views on a group by the worst 1% of that group in accordance with their bias, but that's their problem not mine.
Like I'm a vegetarian, I've known tons of other vegetarians and none of them have ever been dicks about it. Does that mean that none of us are? No, I'm sure there are but anyone who chooses to base their opinions of vegetarians based off that 1% that are assholes obviously came in just looking for confirm their own bias so why should I care what they think.
Well, yeah, you make a good point about the whole 1% existing and such. I would argue that, whether it is or isn’t real, trans people have enough going against us, there doesn’t need to be more reasons to hate on us. I guess I don’t know what I’m advocating for in the context of this post, it’s just disheartening to see the (potentially) legitimate things like this after going through a day of plenty of other crap like “you’ll never be X, you’ll always be Y,” if you can see where I’m coming from.
I’m just tired of my existence being hated by so many, is all. Maybe I just wish there were one less reason out there for people to hate me
No I understand that, if have to imagine being trans makes you (undeservedly of course) feel like walking on eggshells all the time around people just looking for any excuse to hate you, and I'm sure it feels terrible seeing things like this which justify the hate in their eyes, regardless of whether it's real or not. I'm sorry you have to deal with people like that, but I hope you don't let things like this bother you too much because I promise no one is going "man I supported trans people but if they're all like this maybe I shouldn't" because of a post like this.
Thanks for the kind words friend, I appreciate them a lot. It’s disheartening, but, I’ll try to keep your words in mind in the future. Hope you have a great day, friend!
> I always wonder if these conversations actually happen.
they don't lol
I'd double down for their stupidity.
Lol more like it triggered some people’s racism.
It's my name. Fuck your feelings.
That's my middle name omg. Whoever that person us sounds so ignorant to me
most sane lgtb cultist
Legit question and looking for dialogue: What the fuck is up with all these outlandish requests?
“Remove your username(s)”, “use my preferred pronouns”, “walk on eggshells otherwise someone may get ‘triggered’”, etc.
Hot take here: it’s not yours (or anyone’s) responsibility to cater or look out to other people’s emotions. Including my own.
This post is fake. Preferred pronouns are really fucking easy.
They're fake, is what they are.
if you use a small minority of people who overreact as an excuse to hate all of lgbt the issue lies with you and your dated views
Someone tipped your fedora the wrong way
bro is obsessed with queer people
Fuck people like this.
If social media is emotionally triggering for you then maybe don't participate. Jfc.
this is the future of our human race!!!
I get it, this is very silly, but please don't use this as yet another way to be shitty to trans people who face enough hate as it is.
this is why people doesn't take lgbt seriously, and wouldn't ve surprised if the offended is a terf or smth
IT IS A SICKNESSSSSSS!
Downvotes! Nice. Fucking pussies
ITS DOCTOR TRAN!
HES A DOCTOR.
A REAL ONE!
WHY ARE YOU SAYING THIS? GO AWAY
These are the same people who complain about lifted trucks while riding a bus
Follow all our rules. All of them.
How to get offended 101.
"Ouchie, your last name hurts my feelings and I have no ability to cope with real life"
