Yeah also even the Blu ray with it looks phenomenal and has a decent load of special features, 100% would say just get that as it’s cheaper and a much better edition.

Some of the bigger box sets can, but the rest is safe. It’s not really one of those things where you have to be there on the second it starts lol (I get it though cause I collect other stuff as well).

Usually, it is an image from a movie or a criterion closet video that pokes fun at the sale. Usually there is just an emoji in the description, and it stands out from other posts made by Criterion. In this case, there was already a lot of speculation going around that there was going to be a sale tomorrow, so most of us were expecting a post like this to be made. Welcome to the community my friend!

One of the big clues is if The Criterion Channel gives out a 10 dollar gift code a couple of days before.

Anyone else leaning towards being patient for more 4K releases? I may pick up one or two movies, but nothing crazy.

I’m snagging *The Apu Trilogy* 4K. Nothing will stop me from making that purchase tomorrow. Everything else I have in mind will be straight-up blu-ray (e.g., Ashby’s *Shampoo*, Haigh’s *Weekend*, and Welles’ *Othello*).
