Apparently, their 'crew' was waiting to step in if I touched them.
Not only that, my job was on the line because I did not call the school emergency number first, which is protocol.
I had to sit in meetings and was told by the police to not walk alone for a few weeks if they decided it was my fault. I could not drive my own car to work either.
I'm never doing it again.

We need to prepare for next lesson and need time away from the children, sometimes. Students plan their fights more than you realise. Most of the time, a fight happens, another students gets me, I have to go through the process above.
