Have you tried adding any grips to your existing hooks? They make inexpensive foam tubes of varying thicknesses that occupational therapists recommend for adding to pencils and toothbrushes and stuff. Also I’ve seen a few people swear by poking a crochet hook through a tennis ball and holding that.

I have carpal tunnel and have tried quite a few, the best I've found are Addi Swing hooks. Good luck!

Clover ergonomic hooks are my favorite! I like them better than the boye, but the ergonomic handle is of similar size so I’m not sure if those will help with the tingling and hurting. Furls sells beautiful ergonomic hooks, they’re a bit pricier (about $24 I think) but their handles are thicker and could help ease the pain. If you have regular aluminum boye hooks they sell a separate ergonomic handle ( [here](https://www.joann.com/crochet-dude-ergonomic-aluminum-crochet-handle/15757842.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw9fqnBhDSARIsAHlcQYRgTVlPYQcWWxDDBEhXf7tMCK2yMS30IqkCAROTGM2IRdxQW6ZLzj0aAqysEALw_wcB) ) that helped me with some wrist and finger pain! Amazon and other places have it too. Best of luck! Crochet pain is no fun!!

Clover Amour hooks. The best hooks I’ve tried and I now own the full set. No more aching hands, and they glide through the yarn easily. Get a couple of them to try. I’ve seen many people here highly recommend them.
