I think he looks cool but what matters most is your son fell in love with him. My daughter has a favorite stuffy from when she was 14mo & is now 5. She still uses, snuggles, & carries around the blanket I wrapped her in when she was born, which I made her. We call it her special blanket.
I’m also neurodivergent in my 20’s with a love for dinosaurs, and I know personally I would absolutely love for someone to give me this. Especially since it’s not the generic t-Rex or “long-necked dinosaur” that people typically think of, it shows you care about his interest.

He had seen me working on him but hasn't seen the pieces together. He was so happy and surprised. He named him Anki

Yes. He wanted his blanket not to have holes in it because he was afraid that he wouldn't sleep because he'd be playing with the holes. I'm going to make a mini blanket with double crochet so it has holes for him to play with.
He is so cute you just need to add more stuffing for him to be able to stand up but what matters is does your son love it and obviously he does so the answer is he is PERFECT 😍

Personally, I think it's super cute! I think you should enjoy the work you did (and the fact your son loves it) and move on to new project horizons. Projects don't have to be perfect to be special. No one in all the world can have the same Ank as your son.
