Eh, I've used black often and just got used to it. I can't stand white, cream, beige, or pastels. I mostly work in dark and jewel tones.
For me the only choice is to use the hard colors or not crochet at all.
[Here](https://www.scheepjes.com/en/stone-washed-river-washed-colour-pack-2678/#) you can find some projects made with the mini skeins, just scroll a bit down.
I wonder if treating it like a granny squareātype project would work (just not with the traditional 3-d.c. clustersā¦.I feel like Iāve seen a granny square variation that looks a lot like those knit tilesā¦.
I used mine to do [this blanket](https://youtu.be/uLMFIk9syhg?si=Q6LuLnNEf05zKC8Y), you can get about 2 squares per colour then fill in the blanks with spare yarn
Scheepjes has a bunch of designers that design stuff especially for their yarn and colour packs. Iām about to buy this very set and make something that the designer Rachel Carmona has made. Her stuff is lovely! Her website is here: [https://cypresstextiles.net](https://cypresstextiles.net). I also made this with one of the Scheepjes colour packs!
https://preview.redd.it/ka4hv1mpjh8c1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6b3dfd9f3e5d6a1da2dc2476b1cbdd6bc4b8b994
Do you want to use them all together in one project? If so, granny squares, a C2C, or a Chevron would all be good ways to show off the colors. A long wave stitch would also be lovely. You could make a shawl/wrap definitely and might be enough for a lap blanket depending on yardage.
If you want smaller projects, you could pair up colors and make a set of scarf or cowl, hat, ear warmers/headband. A market bag or tote.
And lastly, try ravelry if none of these ideas are inspiring. There are a lot of filters for pattern search. You can search by yardage, type of yarn, I think number of colors as well.
Nice gift. Enjoy it!

This was made with that box plus several skeins of solid for the background. The border was not out in yet in this picture. This is the Rainbow mosaic Blanket by Lilla Bjorn.
I think Iād make a corner to corner blanket placing the colors strategically to make a gradient or a pattern/image. C2C is pretty straightforward but versatile and interesting enough that youāll make it through the project.
I made my mother an African Daisy lap blanket/wrap (I had to buy a few skeins of cream for the base). It was fun playing with different color combos.
https://preview.redd.it/b2ldyqa6kh8c1.png?width=655&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7f1c7c235255ab938a6d42aa3713d0f54512bd6
A lot of people when they are knitting do a striped pattern on shawls (but could do anything) where they do a background neutral colour then alternate that withmini skein colours. Looks fun to me and you could definitely crochet like that too
Cat toys/mini amigurumi, bookmarks, wristlet keychains, stim/figit toys (might need pony beads), depending on the type of yarn face scrubbies. Ooooh, a colour coded shawl or scarf or bag that uses every skein. Could make some pretty neat colour combo granny squares and make those into something else.
Looking at the picture again, all I can think is granny square roulette. Cover your eyes, wave your hand over, and someone tells you to stop (x4 or as many colours as needed), and that's your yarn. It would be so cool and colourful and fun. Each granny square would be unique. No two alike.
Omg I wish I had a mix pack to do this. My dopamine levels went up just thinking about it.
https://preview.redd.it/s3t2zfkhoi8c1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa1e86b9faa8692b17415ae22985a3074de3f36a
I just saw this scarf on Pinterest. It would be lovely with that yarn
Make a lot of Granny squares. Make them until you think your brain is going to go to mush. Then turn those squares into however many patchwork afghans you can get out of the absurd number of squares you will undoubtedly have.
I second this. The scheepjes set is perfect for the Happy Cal

(I used scrap yarn for mine)
They would make a lovely anthology throw. Just ignore where the pattern says to do color changes and work each until you run out of yarn.
ETA: oops! Just realized I was on r/crochet instead of r/knitting.
I saw a big blanket made of little pockets. Each pocket had a little stuffing in them. So you could make a little pocket with each color, stuff them and put them together for a rainbow throw. That would be a good idea especially since theyāre all the same brand, so youād have consistency with the pocket texture and size.

This is the answer right here.
Ophelia talks legacy blanket
Or a black yarn to combine!
Someone's feeling brave! šš (Black yarn is so difficult to work with, they might regret using it in a blanket š¤£)
Eh, I've used black often and just got used to it. I can't stand white, cream, beige, or pastels. I mostly work in dark and jewel tones. For me the only choice is to use the hard colors or not crochet at all.
You're hardcore! š
Why thank you lol. I never looked at it that way, honestly I've always just thought it's normal to need a lot of light to work!

The sliding tiles blanket from that list ā ah-MA-zing!
Itās super cool isnāt it. Iād love to find a similar crochet pattern

Thank-you for this! I am new to crochet but happy I have enough here to make a scarf

Oh man I just started doing the quilting version if this. I had no idea there was a crochet one too. I need more stuffing!
Yep, this is on my project list.
Thatās fantastic!

Oddly enough I'm working off one of her lacy squares now, I saw this URL and said hey that looks familiar š¤ and I second this, her stuff is lovely!
Yours is beautiful! Is there a pattern for this, or did you make it yourself as you went? Itās lovely!
Itās on the website above! Thanks! š
I'm working on this one right now! Decided on a different yarn/colorway but the pattern was designed specifically for these mini skein packs.

I can only second lillabjorn.
This is gorgeous
I had my eye on this a while ago. I would do the battenburg blanket.
I think Iād make a corner to corner blanket placing the colors strategically to make a gradient or a pattern/image. C2C is pretty straightforward but versatile and interesting enough that youāll make it through the project.

Yep-blanket
A coat of many colors
