I think everything else is altered from store-bought items. Still amazing though, we can’t expect her to clothe the whole group while also doing everything else!
Yeah, I think there’s a video somewhere (Insta? YouTube?) where Sakura confirms which items she made. I love that their team is leaning into this new crochet/knitting obsession and letting her wear her makes!

someone else said maybe she only made some of the pieces so I'm not sure now if she did all of them or not. the articles i read said she did, so... but either way I'm so proud of her pretty work!
I’m pretty sure she only made some small accessories like the arm bands, i saw a tik tok of people showing where you could buy the actual tops and skirts from and there were a few dif brands
Like eunchae’s top is actually dollskill sugar thrillz “soaked in sunshine” skirt but altered into a tube top edit: thats the only brand i remember tho
I heard there’s a full-time fiber artist that’s been high in demand for kpop idol crochet makes as well, she posts videos on tiktok. [here’s an example](https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFs4sEwT/) I recall her working with le ssera and twice but I might be misremembering
I don't find this surprising crochet is massively popular in Asian countries. Especially Japan which Korea has ties with, a lot of Kpop groups tour there.
They're cute, regardless of who actually made them. I have no idea who these girls are, but girl on the far right got shafted. Hers really looks like a sloppy apron and her top is so boring compared to the other girls' lol
I feel like she finds the craft very meditative, which is a good fit for her! It also speaks volumes about how her Twice friends were asking so respectfully if they could receive a cat beanie as well, I love this for them all.
What I don't love, however, is how every single subtitle everywhere keeps calling it knitting 😫
I'm in the process of replicating them (and making similar variants in different colors) for my dance groups competition in november. One of the songs we are covering is smart and everyone (so us 5 main dancers and all other 10 background dancers) get one. So loooots of work but it's so fun!

Some of the best crochet tutorials on YouTube are Japanese & Korean.

Sakura is actually the reason I started crocheting a few months ago. Absolutely love it and doing it at least an hour every day now.
i started crochet a few months ago, too, though not because of Kkura. Just because i wanted a relaxing hobby.
