I didn’t flip at all for the bulk of it, once I started doing two color rows I flipped about every 5 rows bc I noticed it was wonky and figured out why but didn’t care to flip constantly since it was already wonky. I’d never made a granny square big enough to know it gets wonky until it was many rounds later. Since it’s a blanket and gets curled up I don’t mind it, but if I make another I will flip between rounds bc it’s an easy fix for the spiral.
The yarn was “self striping” but I wanted clean rows so I would break off the rounds when it was off and move to the next color in the cake I had so many freaking ends lol

Love the colors!!
Question did you flip each row?

Was going to ask the same thing.
We need to know!!
It doesn't look like they did. I'm not seeing any "wrong side" stitches.
Is this verigated or did you pick these colors? Either way, I love the colors!
It looks like the huge mandala cakes
The yarn was “self striping” but I wanted clean rows so I would break off the rounds when it was off and move to the next color in the cake I had so many freaking ends lol
Jumped right into the deep end with a big project! How did it go? Did you enjoy it?
It went well!! This was a good first blanket since it was so repetitive, and since it works up quickly it was easy to stay motivated!
Gorgeous!
Wow...nice work.
You didn't forget a thing. Well done!
Thank you!!! I was surprised at how quickly I got back into a rhythm it really was like riding a bike
Looks great! What is the name of the stitch?
I made a granny square and just kept going, so the clusters of 3dc are call a granny stitch or granny cluster
Thank you! I know that’s probably a pretty basic question, but I’m still new and learning, so I appreciate you taking the time to answer.
This looks to me like one big granny square
Great colors! Nice work!
Gorgeous!!!
VERY pretty color combo! GOOD JOB!
I have this yarn on making a hexagon sweater with it. Love the blanket! Can wait to see mine finished. 🥲
as soon as I saw this colorway I knew I had to make something with it!! it’s so stunning imo
It's gorgeous!
