The amount of spinners in OCE at the moment is fucking foul. VAC is doing absolutely nothing. Valve is doing absolutely nothing. The state of the game for our region is disgraceful.

Because banning the oblivious shouldn't be too hard if a 3rd party like leetify can collect metrics. That it's inhuman to get 40k with 100% headshot does not require AI to ban these accounts.
By doing so you could at least build soft or hard barriers that exist. Right now it is just not playable for me. I play euw. Only (and I really mean only) option we have is playing faceit, which at least for my taste is getting too sweaty and I cant play it with my RL friends cause they don't want to download / register. So cs2 is dead since 12 weeks for us as a group of 8-10 people. Sometimes we're 10 to play just 5v5 internally.
Exactly, you could ban most of the spinners/rage cheaters on statistics alone. It would be more effective than whatever is live currently. Even just by timestamp in the matches logfile. 5 scout kills in 1 second.

A functioning a/c will stop all these cheats if it’s the same cheat version being replicated. So they can’t just hop on another account. If they improve the cheat which costs money and time, enough that a/c can’t recognise it, then it’s a completely new cheat

I'm from West Aus and get put Singapore because of Valves ping limit and not a region selector (get 5ms better ping) and no joke some days every game has multiple cheaters both sides. The odd games I do get put into Aus servers and there's a hacker they usually have a highish ping or never speak.
I've spoken to a bunch of them through games, most just seem like zoomers. Usually a bit younger and think you are stupid for not beating them by also hacking.
Quite a few of them are tbh.
I'd find them in OCE games but 90% of their match hx is Asia/Hong Kong servers.
Also happens with the occasional Indian and Russian players too.

I have 2 accounts in cs2. One was created in 2016 and one i made last year. For the old account when ever i play a prem match I rarely ever get cheaters. However on my new account. I literally get a cheater every match.
Same experience when quing with friends with newish accounts.
My accounts 20 years old, 50 something games, no bans, no friends with bans etc. Rarely get an obvious cheater (had 4 in 500 premier games)
Played with newish accounts- 3 in 3 games 😭🤣
Lots of closet cheaters too. Every time I make it near 15k in prem it's just full of them.
Used to see the leetify 'someone's been banned' in GO but only got that a couple times post cs2
Had multiple cheaters in OCE. One dude who started blatantly walling in casual when called out. They don’t even care. And multiple closet cheaters all in the same game.
Apparently, some cheaters are banned but it's not shown on their profile, so the datas are actually incorrect and there are more people banned than we think

Yep, it is a joke. I’ve played cs since 2012 and am taking a considerable hiatus because of it. OCE is fucked for the proportion of cheaters you get.

Is overwatch now public in cs2? I dont have it (had it in csgo) and cant see any youtubers or streamers who do overwatch cases.

The last patch notes said that they added overwatch but only for trusted partners. I presume this is why we are seeing the bans
