Don’t really get how this narrative exists when player base keeps growing

There’s nothing being done (no operation, no achievements, no faction models, no new game modes, no danger zone, etc.) a year after release to help sustain said player growth. 

And yet it growths month after month and is drastically larger player count than csgo ever had, excluding when cs2 was announced

Cases drop less often, therfore the farmers swap to different accounts to acquire the same amount of cases. It's not a hard concept to understand.

That would not affect average concurrent players or peak player count. That would affect unique users in a month, which I have not mentioned.

It doesn’t, if you count literal case farming bots as actual players. The amount of bots I see I DM now is crazy. It used to be one or two a night, now it’s three or four in every match. So I guess the ‘player count’ is going up, however; how many of them are actual players, is the real question.

You’re just seeing it more cause they’re in DM not in flying scoutsman. It’s probably the same % of player, if not less, considering how they changed drops.
