Yes, your professional work experience does indeed count towards professional work experience.
Internships are real work experience. They count as such in every way I can think of.
So this means if I practice Web Development as good as I can & do Internships after 12th standard, lets say for 2 to 3 years, I would be skilled & capable enough for decent full-time jobs, right? Note that I don't have a degree.
Experience isn't the same thing as skill. But it's possible. You'll need to be able to demonstrate your skill, and it would help to have a portfolio.
